Wasn’t able to experience this spot since we waited 20+ minutes with no service. Even went to the bar to ask if we could order there only to be told they’d come to us. (Hint: they didn’t). Ended up heading elsewhere!

We took a friend, who had never been to The Roanoke for Sunday dinner. While the 2 servers were very nice, the place was understaffed, and the servers were overwhelmed. It took forever to order drinks and food. No utensils/napkins when food fimally arrived. Also had to remind the server they forgot a beer. Burgers were also overcooked. Very disappointed.

People-so-real! Burger tasty. Awesome casual neighborhood energy. Interior was dim and buzzing with afternoon chat. Outdoor patio was great place to be on a sunny day.

Classic. One of a kind pub in a quiet residential neighborhood, very special place.

I’ve been to Roanoke Inn several times after concerts on Mercer Island and it is a great place to enjoy a pint and some delicious pub food! Wonderful English pub atmosphere and a nice selection of local(ish) beer on draft. The chips, salsa and guacamole, and the jalapeño poppers were great! In the past I’ve also had a fantastic mushroom-Swiss burger, and terrific fish & chips! Easy access from and to I-90 (except right now, there’s a bit of construction making it less direct) and just a lovely overall place to hang out, waiting for traffic to clear up or if you need a bite to eat on your way home from something. 10/10 would go again!

The food was good, but the high prices on food and cocktails, and the slow service, made it an average experience for us.

Unbelievably cool, storied pub. This place has been operating for 111 (one hundred and eleven, yes) years!

Yeah yeah, the food is fine, it's a Mercer island institution, but they're cutting corners and the meals are getting smaller. I ordered a sandwich- on the menu, it comes with a side. It came without the side, I asked about the fries. Waiter said yeah no, doesn't with fries. I pointed at the menu, he said we're working on fixing it. Good experience would have been some comped fries, but no, they're both too lazy to update the menu and too comfortable not to screw their guests. That's some lame business practices. Going to file a complaint with the state AG.

The server was not polite. We were told there were beans on the nachos so chose those... no beans and then the food was dropped and the waitress never came back. When I found her at the bar she told.me they didn't come that way
anymore. So she knew she served them with out. She then brought the beans and told the patron that she's sorry she forgot.
