We love the smoothies, salads and the avocado toast is to die for! I have also been so impressed with the service I have received. When my Mom was in the hospital I would bring her the date smoothie as it was one of the only things she would eat/drink. The gal at the counter knew I was picking it up for my Mom and wrote the sweetest get well note for my mom.
There were several items on the menu that included chicken, but they didn't have any chicken. And then they didn't have coconut milk. I was a little disappointed. The food was good and fresh. I ended up having a ginger sesame salad. I tried the elixir which the first ingredient was supposed to be mango cream but it just tasted like Macha tea.
I don't live as close to here as I used to, but I still love Sano. The bowls are fantastic, generously sized, and actually priced reasonably. I love the various toasts, too. They have a very cute array of to-go snacks (like peanut butter energy balls) as well. Lovely atmosphere, lovely employees. Definitely a favorite on Mercer Island!
