Had breakfast on the way through town. The waitress was very friendly, the food was good, and they gave me two pieces of toast (so many restaurants are scrimping these days and give only one piece of toast). It tasted like real butter on the toast (many restaurants use oil). Coffee was good.
The Farmhouse Cafe is a hidden GEM in the beautiful forest country that is Metaline Falls. The food quality and customer service here are both exceptional. Unquestionably, their biscuits and gravy are the best I’ve ever had. Their coffee cake is another can’t miss. I regularly daydream about these two dishes and can’t wait to come back! The Farmhouse Cafe’s execution of our large catering order was outstanding and made our wedding weekend unforgettable for our entire family....
Made to order very tasty. I had breakfast twice and both times it was very good. I was especially pleased that the syrup was warm. So many places have stopped warming syrup. I also ordered hash browns and ask for crispy and they were crispy all the way through without being burnt. Great job! No hash whites. The staff is friendly.
