Western Star Bar & Grill is a cozy restaurant in Metaline that offers delicious food, great beer on tap, and warm small town hospitality. The owner, Carol, is friendly and helpful, even setting up a bowl of water for dogs on the deck. The fish tacos, Philly, fries, shrimp tacos, and fish and chips are all fresh and tasty. The restaurant has a family-friendly back dining area with plenty of space and nearby restrooms. Inside, there is a shuffleboard table and pool table, making it a fun spot for everyone. Recent visitors praised the fish tacos, calling them some of the best they have ever had, and enjoyed the generous cheeseburgers and fries. The atmosphere is welcoming, especially after a day on the river or a motorcycle ride, making it a great place to stop for a drink and a meal.
