Bequest Coffee is absolutely amazing!
The customer service is truly top-notch, welcoming, friendly, and consistent every time.
The food is excellent, especially the açaí bowls, grilled cheese, and their homemade pastries.
And their white chocolate hot chocolate is hands down my favorite, so good.
You should definitely stop by. Highly recommend!

My order took much longer than expected, and when I politely asked about the delay, the barista responded rudely. When I finally received my coffee, there was no coffee art at all and, more importantly, it tasted awful. Overall, the service and quality were both disappointing. I won’t be returning.

Having been a steady customer at their Madison Street location since their opening I'm done with inconsistent pricing and slow service. 5 days a week I've stopped in and ordered the same drink nearly every time. 16 oz. iced mocha , one squeeze chocolate, two shots of vanilla. The only variation is sometimes I order a hot mocha. How much my drink costs depends on what day it is maybe. Don't know. One day it's $7.16 another it might be $7.64 unless Vinny's mother is working then it's over $8. Today was the last straw, Vinny. One person waiting for their order to be completed (sandwich and drink) and a couple in front of me. That's it. 15 minutes later everyone else had their order completed but I still did not have my drink although your barista put up a hot mocha and was busy making someone else's drink that were ordered well after mine. I'm done, Vinny. I will take my business and money elsewhere.
The last few times I’ve been in there has only been one option, the last time it was a chocolate chip cookie and frankly it wasn’t that good. I was hoping for something more substantial like a muffin or a scone. Perhaps I’m just hitting them at the bad times as I only make it in every few weeks
Great service and the latte was delicious!

One of the nicest coffee shops to sip and work. Also have great pastries and brunch options!

It’s quite expensive and the value isn’t there. Pastries were disappointing. The blackberry cream cheese pastry had barely any filling. Not a huge fan of their roast.

The waitress was very kind!
I ordered a breakfast sandwiched which was served to my table and she gave me a glass of sparkling water without charge with my espresso and went to ask for another glass she didn't hesitate at all.
Food was great and atmosphere was great, definitely recommend the place!

The coffee here is very inconsistent some days it is very bland others it is good. I have ordered caramel macchiato a few times on different days and it’s never the same. On a Saturday i came in and ordered a to go cup i asked for a sleeve and the lady ignored my first request then once i got her attention again she gave me attitude saying “is it really that hot the cup is double layer” i payed for my coffee if i ask for a sleeve i should receive one without attitude.

The Bequest Coffee is a standout destination for those who truly appreciate a well-crafted cup. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars for its dedication to quality coffee, thoughtful menu, and inviting atmosphere.
This café strikes a perfect balance between modern design and cozy charm, with plenty of natural light and an open layout that makes it an ideal space to savor your coffee slowly.
Their approach to coffee feels intentional and knowledgeable, with brews that highlight the beans’ natural character rather than masking it with excessive sweetness or heavy syrups. The breakfast and brunch offerings complement the drinks well, making this a versatile spot for both casual coffee lovers and seasoned enthusiasts.
The coffee is bold, clean, and aromatic with a clarity that suggests careful sourcing and precise brewing methods. Every sip carries a depth of flavor without bitterness, and the food is equally well-prepared, serving as a perfect pairing to the drinks.
Staff are warm and efficient, demonstrating a genuine interest in helping you choose the right brew or dish without overwhelming you.
Pricing reflects the quality of their coffee program, and for those who value flavor clarity and craftsmanship, it feels well worth it.
Final Verdict: The Bequest Coffee is a gem for anyone serious about their morning brew. With its strong, pure flavors, curated menu, and serene ambiance, this café is a haven for coffee aficionados looking for depth and quality in every cup.

The line to order was rather lengthy but didn't stop us. I liked that there were many syrup flavors to choose from, more than the menu showed.Pistachio is my favorite but rarely offered.Bequest has it!
Nice assortment of sweeties and sandwiches. Outside dining is covered which is a plus also.

matcha latte was 1/10, it tastes like water. Would definitely suggest you to go somewhere else for matcha.
