I found a piece of decent size piece of glass today in my Seattle Roll. My husband, young son and I have been coming here every other month for the past year and really loved it, but unfortunately will not be returning after how the situation was handled today. I was eating the Seattle roll and bit down on something that felt as hard as a rock. I spit it out and ended up finding a piece of glass about the size of a square piece of gum within the roll. I immediately brought it up to where the server and chef were and they tried to play it off that it was rice. I was very puzzled that the chef was trying to play it off to me that it was rice….rice is not thick, hard as a rock, completely see through, square shaped and with jagged edges. I didn’t argue as I don’t see what good that might have done and I needed to return to my table to ensure my 4 year old son stopped eating in case there was more glass in the sushi. We didn’t eat any more out of caution (although had eaten all but 2 pieces). The server came over and apologized and took that roll off of the bill, which we never asked for him to do. If it was truly rice like they were trying to say, they wouldn’t have taken it off of the bill. It’s concerning that places want to maintain their reputation rather than the safety of others. My husband and I are sick to our stomachs thinking us or our young son might have glass in our stomachs right now if there were potentially pieces that were smaller that were ingested. Had they acknowledged that it was glass and said they were going to do everything they could to ensure they would find why there was glass in the sushi then I would not be writing this right now. Of course we are all human and make mistakes but lying to protect reputation over safety is really telling of what this business values.

This is some of the most authentic sushi I've had in washington state. Incredible tuna selection and fluffy rice for the nigiris. I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for some quality sushi!

The flavor was decent, but the rice under EVERY piece of sashimi completely fell apart, which made it hard to enjoy. That usually means the sushi rice wasn’t cooked right or wasn’t pressed well. The noodles we ordered were good, though the portion could be a bit more generous.

The staff were very kind, and the shop was quiet. I asked them to put wasabi inside the sushi, but they put so little so i barely tasted it. The rolls were falling apart, didn’t maintain its shape. both sushi and roll had moderate flavor, nothing surprise.

Someone has to tell him. Shaved raw lemon on sushi is not it. Lemon doesn't enhance or make sushi better. Lemon pepper on cooked salmon is fine, but not raw lemon on sushi.

This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in the middle of Mill Creek. The atmosphere is very relaxed and refined without being snobby. I respected the kind attentiveness of the waiter and our food was plated by the chef with care, despite us ordering maybe 25 pieces total. They have a great variety of fish in their sushi platters. I wish it all the love and I look forward to coming back when we're in the mood for sushi.
