This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in the middle of Mill Creek. The atmosphere is very relaxed and refined without being snobby. I respected the kind attentiveness of the waiter and our food was plated by the chef with care, despite us ordering maybe 25 pieces total. They have a great variety of fish in their sushi platters. I wish it all the love and I look forward to coming back when we're in the mood for sushi.

My first time eating here, which was worst experience I had at a sushi restaurant. The chef took forever to finish my food and when the food finally came, it wasn’t the right food that I ordered. It was missing ingredients and when I told the server, he just said “ that’s how it supposed to be” which wasn’t true because I read off the ingredients on the menu that the restaurant had in front of me. They didn’t care. Don’t waste your time and money eating here.

First time coming here and let me say it was the worst experience I have ever had eating ANYWHERE it took them over half an hour to give us our 4 sushi rolls and when the rolls finally arrived they were anything but good the avocado was black and no cucumber inside the rolls at all and soaked in sauce when we brought this to their attention they did not care to make the situation better they tried justifying the sushi having bad ingredients or missing ingredients I paid $52 for nothing but to receive gross sushi and walk out avoid this place at all cost there is way better options

**TL;DR:** A must-visit for fresh and delicious Japanese cuisine. Our party enjoyed crispy karaage chicken, fried tempura, tasty miso soup, and expertly made sushi rolls. The talented and accommodating owner, along with a pleasant atmosphere, makes this restaurant a top recommendation.
**Full Review:**
If you're seeking fresh, tasty, and expertly prepared Japanese cuisine, look no further. This restaurant is an absolute gem, and our party left thoroughly satisfied and impressed. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional.
We started with the crispy, juicy karaage chicken, which was perfectly fried to a golden brown and incredibly flavorful. The fried tempura, consisting of shrimp and vegetables, was light, crispy, and wonderfully satisfying. The subtle yet tasty miso soup served as a perfect prelude to the main event.
The star of the evening was undoubtedly the sushi rolls. Each platter was a masterpiece, featuring fresh salmon, tuna, and other delicacies. The precision in preparation was evident in every bite, with no fishy flavors or odors—just pure, clean, and delightful taste. The sushi was a testament to the skill and dedication of the chef, who clearly takes pride in their craft.
The owner of the restaurant is not only talented but also incredibly accommodating. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our dining experience, making us feel truly welcomed. An added bonus for families is the bowl of candies available for young ones as they leave, a thoughtful gesture that surely delights the little ones.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and inviting, with a TV rolling interesting programs in the background, adding to the relaxed vibe. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great meal with friends or family.
This restaurant gets a complete and total recommendation from a satisfied client. The combination of fresh, expertly prepared food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service makes it a standout choice. Whether you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience, this place is very much worth visiting.

Best Sashimi I have had in the upper PNW! The quality of fish is something comparable to a Japanese Fish market in Tokyo. Great fresh flavors!
Menu states real crab but definitely imitation. If I had known I would have just ordered something different. Easily fixable by just advertising it as what it actually is. Many restaurants use it and I just go for a roll with a different protein at those that do. Ramen was ordered with extra chashu and there was gyoza in it...which was strange. Maybe just an off day. Maybe they are low or out and couldn't accommodate....again really easily fixable. A phone call of conversation would do it. Leaving feedback in hopes they can fix those couple things. Food sourcing has been hard for a lot of restaurants so I understand if they just didn't have the items to accommodate. My yellowtail still had bones, and was cut crazy thick. After a bite of each item I decided it was safer to just not continue eating. Overall, I just felt like the quality of the food didn't meet the price. Also, felt a little deceived by what they advertise vs what was received. Not likely to return based on the food but I am still wishing the business the best. I hate leaving a bad review but spending $100 on food you aren't entirely comfortable with eating....I hope they can figure things out.

We have been coming here for years. Every now and then, we deceive ourselves in thinking the sushi here is good, but let's try some other place out. We have, up to now, each time left other establishments talking about how much better Wasabi Bay is.
Things that stick out at Wasabi Bay;
- Great service, super friendly
- Food portions are pretty large, considering price compared to other restaurants
- Food always tastes incredible, the way each roll is made is unique, fish tastes fresh and good quality, flavors are well balanced and very well thought out
- Their take out trays are beautiful
- When dining in, they plate their sushi beautifully. You can tell the chef takes great pride in his work.
The only critique I'd give is the music they play doesn't really fit the environment.
These guys just simply set the bar for our family when it comes to sushi.
