Got a Dory Locos. Tastes wonderful and fresh. Everything I expected. The lady behind the counter was very sweet. If you're a card doesn't tap, like my BECU one doesn't, either bring one that taps or be prepared to type in your phone number on her phone. Not a deal-breaker at all. Just a fair warning. This place is insane! I came in first thing in the morning to buy tamales and just had a mouth orgasm. 😂 I don’t know what else I could say. These tamales were a 20/10! They had chicken pork and jalapeño and cheese. They are huge and the most flavorful thing I’ve ever eaten. This place is for sure a hidden gem. If you love Mexican food or you love tamales, this is where you want to go there isn’t anyone else anywhere even near here that has anything like this.
This is my new favorite restaurant in Monroe (or really anywhere). I'm white as hell and I'm used to fast-food Mexican food, so this place really opened my eyes to what I've been missing out on. Everything they make is 10/10 delicious and exceeded my expectations. The mangonadas is AMAZING, their tamales are the best in town, the elote is fantastic, their shaved ice is awesome. I'm going to try everything on the menu lol. So glad I decided to look for tamales...
