What a wonderful and unexpected treat! A friend introduced me to this darling restaurant and bookstore today. I had a chicken sausage with mashed potatoes and sausages that tasted like my grandmother made it for me. The pastries I brought home were delicious. I came home with five books and chocolates. I will be back soon.

What a lovely cafe & bookstore that we are so glad we stopped by for!
Lemon Hill Cafe & Bookstore has a bright and clean interior with walls lined with books and little gifts. When we stepped in, there were aromatic smells of pastry and freshly-cooked food in the air.
We tried the peanut butter cupcake, lemonade sable, house tea and black coffee. We enjoyed everything, especially the peanut butter cupcake which we highly recommend! It’s got a delicious frosting that’s not too thick and is perfectly nutty.
I ended up browsing and getting books from the lovely selection they have here and recommend giving yourself a bit of time to look around too.
Would love to return to try their dishes which we overheard another customer raving about and also witnessed many locals coming in to order.

A great little cafe stop along on our way to Forks. We had coffee, tea and a peanut butter cupcake. The cupcake was heavenly and not too sweet. The frosting was perfect. The service was wonderful too. They have a collection of pretty good books too.

This place so exceeded my expectations. I was on the road and was happy to find a place with gluten free options (according to the woman I spoke with almost everything is or can be made gluten free). I had the tilapia with roasted veg, rice and chickpeas, some pear cobbler for dessert and took some of the most delicious cookies I’ve ever had to go. Everything was sooo good. The people were wonderful and the space was adorable. I wish this was closer to home.
This place goes WAY harder than they need to. Chanterelles in the homemade soup! Staff is ridiculously nice too.

Drove in to meet a friend at this sweet place and was immediately wishing it was closer to where I lived. The food was so tasty, the portions were generous and the service was the right balance of friendly but not so friendly that you can't talk with your friend you just drove to see 😂
