“Fantastic southern style BBQ in a quaint, gorgeous, northwestern part of the country. I enjoyed a delicious BBQ sandwich with Cole Slaw and Beans. Veteran-run business, with delicious food, friendly staff, and quick service. Get there early because they do run out of food.”
“Absolutely incredible! Amazing coffee, great staff, welcoming, cheerful and willing to do basically anything to help you get the right drink. And they'll give you the right drink! Overall great for diets!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair-accessible entrance and plenty of room to move around in.”
“Women very helpful in placing my order as I did not know name of burger wanted and very nice and pleasant thank you to all the women working on 2/8/2024 at 11:30 a.m.”
“I have been getting coffee from them for 7 years since we moved from Lacey to Montesano. Good coffee and good service. The girls are always nice and very friendly.”
“Cute and clean fishing-themed restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Went in for breakfast on our way to Ocean Shores. My hashbrowns were underdone and the poached eggs on my Benedict were barely runny, but the hollandaise was tasty. Hubby got the corned beef hash and wasn't super impressed as his over-medium eggs were also overcooked, but the service was friendly and there was almost no wait time for the food.”
“Our barista was very nice, and the americano I ordered was great! While waiting in line, I opened Yelp and started to get worried because of some negative reviews. However, my experience was very positive! I have no complaints and would get my coffee here again.”
“Brought my family here and we loved the food and the Shirley temples was amazing as well I recommend going here if you are looking for a amazing home cooked meal thank you”
“Pizza was good but overpriced I got a large chicken bacon jalapeño without the chicken replaced with bacon and it was $40 I have NEVER paid that much for a pizza in my life and prob won't go back because of it!!!!”
“I never write reviews but this place was super helpful in meeting my dietary needs and preventing cross contamination from gluten. They say they have a dedicated dryer for their French fries which is awesome. Their burger patties have great flavor.”
“Nestled in Montesano, Washington, Charlie's holds a charm that goes beyond its physical space. It's about the heart and soul of this place—its people. What truly resonates for me is Charlie's remarkable ability to transform strangers into friends who share in the revelry. One instance stands out—last week a spirited wedding group from Tacoma extended their Lake Sylvia celebrations at Charlie's.Seeking fresh perspectives, I sat down with this culturally diverse wedding party. In our conversations, we explored whether Montesano, a town sometimes associated with the small-town stereotypes that Jason Aldean's song "Try That in a Small Town" inadvertently promotes, lived up to those labels. Did they feel like outsiders, or were they embraced for who they are? Their insights painted a vivid picture—a Montesano drenched in warmth, challenging stereotypical small-town vibes, and illuminating the town's genuine character.Stepping into Charlie's, newcomers encounter no unease—no awkward hush, no wary glances. Instead, you're greeted with the warmth reserved for an old friend you haven't yet met. And this experience wasn't just mine—it's a sentiment echoed by others. Just as the wedding party found belonging here, so did I, and that's the true essence of Charlie's—a genuine haven in our small town, bridging divides and weaving connections.Let's continue embracing the stories and celebrate the differences that bring us together, and let the music play. ??Kid-friendliness: My kid is furry and has four legs.”
“This spot was recommended highly by a coworker so I called in a takeout order today and was thrilled with the food and service! They were kind on the phone and took care of me as soon as I walked in. I would have loved to stay and eat, as the atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. I loved that they put onion and pepper chunks in the beef and broccoli, it adds a great variety and their ragoons are killed. Can't recommend it enough!”
“Great place to relax, visit with friends, and eat. Great food. We will be back.Parking: Not a whole lot of places to park. But we continue to go for great food, staff, atmosphere.”
“Grandma and I went to subway today and she had trouble picking out a sandwich and the most beautiful girl help us out today, tnks for a cool little town y'all are ”
“Great spot to stop. They had every amenity you could ask for, good showers, bathrooms, a rec room, large RV spaces, a nice pub with a big porch, and some of the most friendly people we’ve ever met on the road. We had an issue with our trailer and the owners, staff and fellow campers went above and beyond to help us get things moving. Would always recommend this place to anyone traveling through Artic!”
“What a great place to eat friendly crew great food and atmosphere im going back many timeHavnt had a chocolate shake like that fir years and the hamburger was fresh and ”
“My mom and I were walking in this small town and we peeked our heads in to check out this cool little shop. They serve coffee, tea, and food. The menu changes with the seasons and what's available. We didn't order anything, but there was seating inside, books for sale, and very friendly staff.Parking would be along the street. I didn't see a designated parking lot, but I think it would be relatively easy to find parking.”
