Drove 12 miles to have terriyaki for lunch, hours say open at 11, I was there at 11:20 and they weren't open yet.....NOT COOL
This used to be our absolute favorite place to go. We would order here frequently, and have family dinner together at the restaurant. However, recently my dad went there with my grandfather for lunch, and after leaving my dad realized that he left his wallet on the table with $600 in cash inside of it. Considering how they were the only two people in the restaurant dining out, they had assumed that an employee picked up the wallet and had it. However, the employees then lied about never seeing the wallet. I don't recommend supporting thieves.
I recommend the owner reviewing the cameras, figuring out which employee stole the wallet And returning my father's wallet if you want me to take my review down. As well as the full $600 that was stolen from him

We love this place. The lunch deal is the way to go. Ample servings and the food is good. If you eat there you get a soup and barley tea.
They are normally very quick but can be slower depending on how many customers are there the same as any other restaurant.
Great atmosphere.

We lived in Japan for a year and a six months and highly recommend the yakisoba and gyoza! Very good. I love the Japanese cafe vibe. Very authentic and relaxing.
Have been here several times. Food is good, hot & fast.

It was okay. I came in a little early for lunch and it took probably 30 minutes to get my food at my table. Prices were very good. I had chicken teriyaki with gyoza. Restaurant was clean. Presentation of food was very nice. Chicken could have been a little less well done. They served soup which was really nice.

Look, This place is good. But you have to know how to order. DON'T order the Chinese food. Order teriyaki and Japanese food. The katsu lunch special is good (I personally like a lighter breading) but it came out hot and crisp with a light little salad and some gyoza. What's not yo like? Oishi isn't fancy and I personally believe they should scale back their menu to just be teriyaki classics; but all in all, this place delivers well cooked food if you dont get tripped up by ordering well.
What I mean by that is, if you come here looking for sticky sweet Chinese food...you'll find it but it won't be great, but if you stick to teriyaki staples like the teriyaki and katsu you'll leave happy.

Food was mostly good, had the best egg drop soup I have ever had. The rest of the food was just okay. Not horrible, but not the best. Server was polite

Exceptional quality food. You know when people talk about that one little hole in the wall, but the food was SOO GOOD? they'll rave about how it was the best and they can't remember the name but it was just a little hole in the wall!
Well, you found one. This place is a surprise and refreshing. Calm music, nice atmosphere, and phenomenal food. Textbook hole in the wall.
