I'm not giving this five stars because it has great food or atmosphere, but because it fulfills its mission perfectly. Hot crispy fish and not that crispy fries delivered quickly at a good price (Not to mention that it's one of the very few places which were open at 10:00 in the morning serving food on a Saturday). The ambiance is dilapidated ballpark concession at the end of the universe. I can see how this has probably served generations of people in this town.
Great stop for delicious food and great service! We called ahead for carry out and it was ready shortly after we got there. We saw the dining area when we ran in to use the restroom (which was nice and clean!). It looked nice and cozy with a wood burning stove in the middle. As for the food we ordered, the onion rings were delicious and my daughter said “ The crunch speaks for itself! Best onion rings I’ve ever had!” The fish sticks, chicken strips and fries were also great!...
