I stumbled upon Pioneer Bar and Grill about 10 years ago and keep going back for the homey atmosphere, crispy fries, fried gizzards and tasty sandwiches. One of my favorite restaurants in Washington State!
They make the food right in front of you. Best White Russian ever. Love their French dip with onions, cheese, and mushrooms when they have them. Once you come a few times they start to know you. Great bar food.
To think it's just Bar food does not take into account the love & detail into this Dam Bacon Cheese Burger. Ample paddies sandwiched with pickles, tomatoes, lettuce & special sauce. What tops it is the use of real Walla Walla sweet onions. The flavors blend perfectly in your mouth. Size & height reminds me of the Brontosaurus Burger of the Flintstones.
