On Monday, April 15, 2024, at 5:20 pm I drive to Darren's Donuts expecting to buy a delicious donut. But before driving to Darren's Donuts, I check on Google to see if they are open. On their store hours, it said "5 am-6 pm" so I made my way, excited to buy a maple bar donut. To my surprise when I get there, it is closed. They were closed 40mins before closing time on their store hours. The deception, heart break, gut wrenching feeling I felt to find out that I would not be able to eat one of their delicious, soft, amazing donuts. With all this being said, I believe they should stop breaking people's hearts by lying to them and they should update their hours if they're closing earlier, or ran out of donuts. I understand if the donuts ran out or they had to close earlier, but this should be said. It is a heartbreaking feeling knowing you were on your way, excited, to just find out they're closed. Donuts are great though!!

The clerck was friendly and the service was fast. I got a sugar donut and it was very goodThe only issue I had was that the ramp in front of the shop was in a regular parking spot. There was a truck parked in it and therr was barely room for my walker to fit. When I left I saw the ramy in front of the nect store. It was between 2 parking spaces so it wasn't partially blocked. I think not having a visible sign for the ramp is a failing of the shopping center management not the donut shop.Wheelchair accessibility: Thare is a ramp right in front of the storebut the space is not marked handicapped. When I went there was a truck partially blocking the ramp. My walker barely fit. There is a ramp between 2 parking spaces in front of the store next to the donut shop. I recomnend using that ramp.

I live in Oak harbor and we drive to Mt Vernon to get these doughnuts. They are fresh and so delicious!! They serve peanut sprinkles topped doughnuts we can't get here in Oak Harbor. The owner is so humble and kind.I give this business a 10 out of 10Worth the drive!! You won't be disappointed.

This is the best donut in Skagit County. Get a crueller if you like eggy texture. Get something with their chocolate on top. Get your favorite. Get a friend one.Very reasonably priced for superb product. So glad they are back!
The doughnuts were great the selection was lacking possibly because it was later in the day.

I had been running errands all morning finally got home go5 the kids settled and eating finally go to eat my donut out of the dozen i bought and within my first few bites I had the longest stringiest peace of hair go down my throat that I had to pull back up.. I'm done I don't want anymore donuts today... they honestly didn't even look that good to began with but this did it for me.

The donuts here were good, but the service suck. I came here in the morning around 7 am and the guy that was helping people was plain rude. If you don't want to be there then stay home, and don't take it out on everyone else. I will take my business elsewhere. The donut shop itself is filthy and needs a good scrub down. I would stay away from this place and find donuts somewhere else.
