Little spendy but the food was great, beer delicious and staff was amazing. Place was clean, pinball machines are well kept and liked the layout of the place too. There is a trivia night that draws a pretty nice sized and friendly crowd. The Lilo and Stich sounds delicious and I'll find out next time I go👍
First Time eating here. I've had pizza in a lot of places, this is the best pizza I've had!
The beer alone is enough to keep someone coming back. Look forward to spending some more time here.
Great beers and pizza
I live nearby so I default to this place for dinner sometimes. Each time I am reminded that I should not come here. Each time, the staff is not friendly, on the verge of being rude but they ride a fine line.
This last time, our buzzer wasn’t working so we came downstairs to find our food waiting. We told the staff and they said they didn’t know why the buzzer didn’t work. I was wondering why they don’t inform the guest when they haven’t picked up their food yet? It’s a near zero service establishment when you order at the counter get your own cup, straw, pick up your own food, clear your own plate, they ask for a 15% tip or better at payment. My advice to the owner is please talk to your staff about what it means to be a server and to work in a service industry. If your job is to stand behind the counter and take orders, take a little pride and be kind and make sure people are being served.
Delicious pizza
Yesterday, at 6:46 pm I was turned away from ordering two take out pizzas at your Mount Vernon location. I was told that "we closed at 8:00 pm and it was too close to closing time to place any orders." As of yesterday, you were my monthly pizza fix. I have been a fan for years. I won' be back.......
Nice selection and variety of beers. Their hazy was great as was Nicolai’s IPA. Didn’t have the pizza but smelled fab! I’ll be taking a six pack to go for sure!
Great pizza and apps. Love the environment.
I do wish you had hot pads or something to carry the pizzas. Burned my hands on the stone carrying 2 pizzas upstairs.
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere.
Beautiful outdoor space and the beer is pretty good. The food was not great. Undercooked wings and a chef salad from a 1990s Pizza Hut salad bar.

Thanks, had a great pizza and a root beer
Lovely brewery. The pizza is really good and they have a nice selection of drinks on tap.
I was in Mt Vernon wasting time until I had to go to a Dr. appointment and decided to have lunch.
I had no destination in mind, so I just parked in the public parking lot then walked out of the lot to see what was available.
My eyes stopped on a sign that said “pizza”. I love pizza. So I started walking towards the pizza sign and noticed the name of the restaurant was District Brewing.
The outside looked like it was decorated in an industrial theme, but when I entered the building there was a lot of wood everywhere.
I got there very early in the lunch hour and there were only a few customers present.
I walked to the counter and exchanged pleasantries with the young lady behind the counter then made my selection for lunch. I chose a small October Sky pizza and a fountain drink.
I chose the October Sky pizza because it had sliced steak and jalapenos on it. There were more ingredients, but I forget what they were and I forgot to photograph the menu 🙁.
I was handed a buzzer to let me know when my order was ready and I decided to tour the restaurant.
District Brewing has two floors! The main floor has the ordering counter and seating area, the upper floor has a couple pinball machines, a couple claw games, and a foosball game. There is also more seating and you can look down on the main floor.
My buzzer went off and I retrieved my pizza, got my drink and enjoyed my lunch.
The pizza is a pan-style pizza with a thick crust that has a thin layer of cooked cheese on the bottom! First time I’ve experienced that! The crust is nice and chewy and the toppings are very tasty and don’t slide around when you bite in to it.
My pizza was cut into four pieces and I could comfortably eat only 2 of them. So I got a carry out box and took the other two slices home for later.
I really enjoyed my visit to District Brewing and look forward to visiting again!
My wife and I had a private event at District Brewing in August 2024 and it couldn’t have gone much better. We were already big fans of the beer, pizza and wings, but everyone went above and beyond for us. Leading up to and during the event, Gabe and Marisa were incredibly helpful and ensured it went as smoothly as possible. They even helped connect us with their incredible trivia guy, Clay. Although we live out in Friday Harbor, District Brewing is an essential stop whenever we come to Mount Vernon, and we’ll be back (frequently). Thanks for everything!!
Can't pay with cash. We live in America don't we
