District Brewing | Mount Vernon

Lovely brewery. The pizza is really good and they have a nice selection of drinks on tap.

I was in Mt Vernon wasting time until I had to go to a Dr. appointment and decided to have lunch.

I had no destination in mind, so I just parked in the public parking lot then walked out of the lot to see what was available.

My eyes stopped on a sign that said “pizza”. I love pizza. So I started walking towards the pizza sign and noticed the name of the restaurant was District Brewing.

The outside looked like it was decorated in an industrial theme, but when I entered the building there was a lot of wood everywhere.

I got there very early in the lunch hour and there were only a few customers present.

I walked to the counter and exchanged pleasantries with the young lady behind the counter then made my selection for lunch. I chose a small October Sky pizza and a fountain drink.

I chose the October Sky pizza because it had sliced steak and jalapenos on it. There were more ingredients, but I forget what they were and I forgot to photograph the menu 🙁.

I was handed a buzzer to let me know when my order was ready and I decided to tour the restaurant.

District Brewing has two floors! The main floor has the ordering counter and seating area, the upper floor has a couple pinball machines, a couple claw games, and a foosball game. There is also more seating and you can look down on the main floor.

My buzzer went off and I retrieved my pizza, got my drink and enjoyed my lunch.

The pizza is a pan-style pizza with a thick crust that has a thin layer of cooked cheese on the bottom! First time I’ve experienced that! The crust is nice and chewy and the toppings are very tasty and don’t slide around when you bite in to it.

My pizza was cut into four pieces and I could comfortably eat only 2 of them. So I got a carry out box and took the other two slices home for later.

I really enjoyed my visit to District Brewing and look forward to visiting again!

My wife and I had a private event at District Brewing in August 2024 and it couldn’t have gone much better. We were already big fans of the beer, pizza and wings, but everyone went above and beyond for us. Leading up to and during the event, Gabe and Marisa were incredibly helpful and ensured it went as smoothly as possible. They even helped connect us with their incredible trivia guy, Clay. Although we live out in Friday Harbor, District Brewing is an essential stop whenever we come to Mount Vernon, and we’ll be back (frequently). Thanks for everything!!

Pizza and wings are good, view is nice, serve yourself after you order at the counter. Fountain pop was good. Perfect for an informal dinner.

Don't put your money into their pinball the machines are not maintained

A friend gave me a slice of their pizza and it was SO good! I could eat the whole slice (this will make sense why it’s noted lol) we ordered our own that night and the SAME pizza I tried earlier the same day was so crisp I couldn’t eat most of the crust and the pretzel bites were frozen grocery store quality at best! I’ll probably give the pizza a try again someday but the variance was wild! My friends was so fluffy and delicious! Mine was hard to eat and crust was awful, I was bummed it wasn’t super cheap and we don’t eat out much so it was a real bummer.

This place is fantastic! Some of the best pizza I've ever had. I don't usually eat flour but this looked too good to pass up, I wasn't sorry! They even put a cheddar around the outside of the crust?
I'll definitely be back when I come back to town!

Today you would not allow my friend Max who is disabled inside with his service dog to drink a beer in absolute violation of the Americans with disabilities act Not only will I not recommend you I will tell my friends about your actions and then they will not recommend or visit and they will tell their friends You may as well close the doors now.

Call me old fashion but CASH is king! But they don't take it. CASH is legal tender for all debt, I don't like to pay with a card and pay for my dinner later, it's just not a good way of doing business in my book. First and last visit. And the blonde with the ponytail, I saw you rocking your head repeating what I said to the other staff. Kinda hostile if you ask me. The girl that rang up our order was nice and appollogitic.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating is available in a fast casual type of environment in which you order and pay before you enjoy. Pizza was cooked well and flavorful although the sauce was a bit bland. Nice range of beers and I enjoyed the Mexican lager.

I can here with my wife the wait was a bit on the long side and the pizza crust maybe 30 seconds from perfection but everything was truly amazing and out of hundreds of pizza places I've had the pleasure and displeasure of trying district is top 5 greatest for me the staff are friendly and the whole experience was basically perfection thank you district for the amazing experience
