We went for a birthday dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Ayla was a wonderful and caring server who took superb care of us. We are excited to go back and sit in the martini lounge for a different experience. Great prices and delicious food!

So my S.O. called this place as we were walking into the restaurant before we even ate there. Suggesting that it was on the level of an Outback. You'll be able to tell from the photos that our foot sat under the warmers for far to long. The steaks were poorly seasoned and because it sat for too long the doneness was overcooked. The brussel sprouts had no flavor and the sauce was just pool of oil at the bottom of the bowl. Similar for the waffle fries, all the blue cheese was at the bottom of the bowl. Service was sporadic and had many forgotten items that were requested more than once. If you're in the area and are looking for a steak house, skip this one.

The dark lounge scene here works for us lately and we enjoy their selection of IPA beers, along with a good Burger and fries. The French dip works too but the onion rings and tarter sauce are off the charts amazing, even when you take them home for a couple days they're still good eating them cold.

My family has been coming here since they started back in 70's. Our family has now been coming to this restaurant for 5 generations for business lunches and dinners, to celebrate life events, and date nights. Paul and Danny are like family friends to us. Their hospitality is unmatched. When we make reservations or walk-ins, Paul and Danny make time to come to our table no matter the occasion is always special. This place will and always be a family favorite for more generations to come within our family. Cant say anything bad about the staff and how this place creates a following. Cheers to Max Dales and what this place does for the Skagit Valley.

Had a good meal. Ribeye was cooked the way I like it. Medium rare. Maybe a little over. Freshly mashed potatoes were a little lumpy, which doesnt turn me off, but don't expect smooth. Came with asparagus as veggie, nice change from restaurants who airways want to give you zucchini or something like that. Quiet booths and mood lighting. Good place for a date. Just had a coke. With tip, $62.
Outrageous pricing for quality of food. Don't order the prawn appetizer.
If you want the most mediocre, disappointing, unsavory food all for the price of $90 per person this is the place for you. I personally had the displeasure of consuming the greasiest fish and chips to exist, not even an exaggeration, the fries below were soaked through in excess oil. There was a solid 2 inches of sad cod in there and the best review I've gotten of this place from the people in my party is that my food was fine. Wow, truly the highest of praise for the highest of prices. Save yourself save your loved ones and do me a favor and dine somewhere else. Although, I must admit that the service was quite nice even with the generic pop music in the background. -Someone's daughter
Very nice restaurant with a fun menu. There were so many things I wanted to try. The service was outstanding, the food was good, and the interior was really nice.
Great belated mothers day dinner, for me and the kiddoes. Food was what I expected. Which was amazing! Kidz were unsure but gave it a Thumbs up!!
No, wait, due to a reservation. Super easy to reserve online.
Psstt...get the waffle fries....

Very good big portions.
05/03/2025: The two of us arrived around 5p on a Saturday. It was pretty quiet and only a small number of people in the dining room. Nice because it was so quiet.
We ordered calamari, Ribeye and pork chop for dinner and a couple of cocktails. Cocktails were okay, tasty enough. Can't complain about the food overall, everything really good. Calamari was lightly battered and fried. Ribeye was a really decent size and cooked exactly how it was ordered (medium rare). Pork chop was a bit overdone however still a good dish.
Service was friendly and attentive. Building is reminiscent of Stuart Anderson's Black Angus. Think tall ceilings, lots of wood, high backed booths. Very nice.
Steak bit bowl was really tasty
I love the space. Food can be hit or miss. I had spare ribs this time. I was a little sad about the steak the last two times. I do enjoy the sides. Broccoli 🥦 was great... not why I went there.
Amazing food, great service and wonderful attention to detail! I highly recommend their blue cheese waffle fries, and any cocktail is made to perfection!
