My friend and I visited this lounge last Sunday. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a lounge. We sat at the corner table near the front window and spent five hours at this lovely establishment. I don't drink liquor and their mocktail menu had so many options that I had a difficult time choosing. We also had the baked brie that was so delicious! It came straight out of the oven with apple slices and a sliced baguette. The staff was super friendly and kept checking in on us throughout the evening. I will be coming back to try more of the mocktail menu and other food items as well. If anyone is looking for a relaxing lounge with a great atmosphere and friendly staff, look no further then the Revival Lounge!!!

2 stars ONLY because the space itself is beautiful â the atmosphere and location are honestly five-star. I wanted so badly to stay, eat, drink, and vibe out after a long day. But the service completely overwhelmed the atmosphere in the worst way.
I sat at the bar and the bartender, Alice, immediately gave off rude, dismissive energy. Not âbusy,â not âpreoccupiedâ â just straight up condescending. Iâve bartended on and off for 12 years, and the way she interacted with me was shocking.
A couple examples, because this wasnât a one-time slip: ⢠I asked whether the olives were premixed or if I could get just Kalamata. She responded, âWeâre not going to pick out which ones you want,â even though I NEVER asked her to. Thatâs literally why I asked if they were premixed â to avoid inconveniencing anyone. I replied âThatâs why I asked, I wouldnât expect anyone to do thatâ she said, âWell, some people would,â like that somehow justified her attitude. ⢠When I ordered the charcuterie board (which is clearly labeled that way on the menu), she kept correcting me with, âthe antipasto plate.â I said, âNo, the charcuterie board,â and she said, âYeah, itâs the same thing,â like I was just supposed to automatically know that.
Bartending is a craft. If you canât vibe with people, read a room, or at least be stern and still approachable, then you shouldnât be behind a bar. Being bitchy to customers for no reason is the fastest way to kill an entire vibe â and thatâs exactly what happened.
I absolutely wasnât about to sit there, raise my tab, and tip someone who went out of their way to be rude. I just tipped her $5 on a $15 tab for being off putting as hell â I wasnât about to stay and tip more. I ended up canceling my food specifically because of the negative energy Alice was giving.
Itâs honestly sad, because everything else about this place screams five stars. But her attitude brought it all the way down to two.
If you want good energy, good service, and great food, go to The Sports Keg Grill down the street instead. Miranda and Jess are incredible â welcoming, attentive, and the atmosphere is super dope. Everything this place is missing behind the bar.

Revival is a nice place. Full marks for atmosphere (though the A/C and music were a bit high for my personal preference) and drinks. A place that feels dedicated to high quality cocktails.
Food was only okay. Clearly an establishment focused on the bar side and not the food. It was okay, but the menu is limited. The brownie was not warm through. Flatbreads were good and simple, but clearly designed to be special.
Service was mostly good. When the staff was interacting, they were knowledgeable, helpful, and warm. However, there were 3 staff to 4-5 tables while we were there. Whenever we needed something, we consistently had to flag down a staff member instead of them checking in. They also would group together behind the bar to chat loudly instead of focusing on the customers.
Overall, if you want fantastic drinks in a great setting, this is the place to go in mount vernon. If you're looking for more than that, maybe stop by for a drink before heading elsewhere.
This is a really charming cozy bar with a delightful vintage feel. I love that the music matches the decor which feels immersive. Little touches like using doilies as coasters is so cute! The drinks are fantastic with a long list of cocktail options. The food is delicious too! The pretzel tasted freshly baked with the perfect amount of salt. This is a delightful spot for a drink if you're in Mt Vernon!

A pleasant anniversary outting. Very cool vibes that teleport you to an older time. I liked the seating options, lighting, decor. Our server was polite and helpful. My partners drink was really good, mine was mostly good except for the bartender gave it a salt rim instead of the sugar one that the menu said it comes with and it came it a big soda cup and didnât look fancy like I was thinking it would. The food was costco good. Come as you are, itâs a nice evening out spot!

Who knew?! Right in downtown a wonderful lounge. Enough food to qualify, but more, terrific drinks. One small complaint: they really need to replace the outdoor furniture. Take up a collection from customers!!
