Wish I would have taken pictures. Quiet cozy dark atmosphere. Amazing craft cocktails. They have a rotating seasonal cocktail menu. The cocktails have dates and books they were curated from. Most from the 1930s. Small delightful food menu. A great place to have a private party, a date, or a night with friends. Can't wait to go back.

Perhaps the finest bar I have ever visited. Excellent drinks, handcrafted right in front of you with quality ingredients, by knowledgeable bartenders. The bar itself is a beautiful antique mahogany and marble thing of great beauty. In addition to the extensive collection of liquors, the owner actually dries the fruit garnishes. Staff is attentive without being obtrusive. The interior is worth a trip, in and of itself. Gloriously dark, but not gloomy. Music is always great. Limited food is offered but not the "typical" bar food. Handmade and baked to order flatbreads is just one of the items. I love to sit at the bar, not only to watch the bartenders at work, but for the conversations. Either the bartenders or the patrons, good conversations are here. My favorite place to drink in Mount Vernon!

Just recently stumbled upon this gem of a place and it has quickly become one of our favorite hideaways with a most excellent whisky selection!

Party of 6 with a reservation, we stopped in after dinner elsewhere to find this very dark cramped "wanna be" speakeasy vibe. The overpriced crafted drinks were interesting and provided the opportunity for lively discussion, but frankly, nothing special. Ours was a birthday celebration so nothing was going to impede our good times. Won't be making a return visit as found Revival Lounge uninspired...

This place is great. Old school, classic cool. Warm and intimate. You'll feel like Bogie and/or Bacall!

Absolutely in love. Interior is gorgeous and fits its Speak easy style, went here for my first bar experience as I turned 21. Proud to say The Revival Lounge is my first and greatest pick to go to.

The kindness and generosity of the owners is beyond compare. I work for another restaurant and when we had a crisis and had to close our doors, Revival was there for us in so many ways. They donated to our employee fund, offered words of encouragement and offered interviews for our staff. That says an awful lot about who these people are. Thank you so much, you are all amazing!

I really want to like this place, but I doubt I'll go back because of compounding issues. In a nutshell, I can handle the fact that things are on the high end of pricing, because it's a small place and kind of a specialty vibe. It truly is a nice setting and friendly people. There is no cause to complain about any of that, even if the prices are such that it wouldn't be a regular stop... However, our experience was overshadowed by being charged incorrectly. Those things put together make the conclusion of experience vs cost as a "not worth it."Wife had a bottle of wine (which is 4 glasses) and got charged for 5 glasses.I got charged for a top shelf bourbon, when I was drinking Maker's Mark.As much as I hate to give a negative review, here's the detailed story, which will hopefully be received with the spirit in which it is intended... just constructive criticism to help improve the customer experience:I ordered Maker's Mark on the rocks. The bartender heard a different brand (that was top shelf), but we got that straightened out before anything was poured. My wife ordered wine and a new bottle was opened to accommodate. The style of wine glass is strange, but it seemed to be under-poured. Typically, there are 4 glasses of wine in a bottle. After the fourth glass, the bartender noticed that there was some left and seemed surprised at that fact, and so were we. So, when my wife was done with her current glass, she said that she might as well finish off the rest of what was left in the bottle as there was very little left... the bartender agreed that was appropriate and poured the 1/4 of a glass for her. We finished up (they were at closing time by now) and were surprised by the size of the bill (it's a little too dark to get a detailed read of the bill), but paid up, gave an above 20% tip and moved on. My wife noted that she believed she saw they charged me $24 for each glass of Maker's Mark, which is way out of line, but it is what it is, I thought. When we reviewed the receipt in more detail the next morning, we noticed two things:1. I was charged for the top shelf bourbon that the bartender thought I had said originally, not for what I actually consumed.2. That 1/4 glass of wine was not only charged to us, but it was charged as a full glass.Nice people. Nice setting. Not nice to overcharge.

Craft cocktails are hard to come by, so when I hear of somewhere newer trying it out I have to put them to the test.Over a couple of visits I ran through the gambit of Manhattan, Old Fashion, whiskey sour and a Sazerac. Each came out at a very well balanced high quality, my only desired improvement might be the speed of service, of course quality takes time but when they get busy running with a single bartender it has its downsides.

Very good whiskey and whisky selection, not too many ryes but a good selection of bourbon. Bartenders are all very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and expedient.

Unique speakeasy vibe with delightful bartending staff in bow tie adornment. Whether wine or old fashioned, they provide top quality beverages. It is our go-to last call or out-of-town guest stop.
