I have been told a few times that they had great food so since I drove by daily I figured I would give it a try. I ordered the chicken tamales with beans and rice and they were AMAZING!!!
The guy I talked to and ordered from was very nice and a joy to chat with. The few things I would suggest is have a specific place to order and pay it is kinda awkward just standing in the middle of the Walk Way and maybe add tacos salad also they should add half a dozen or a dozen tamales...

On behalf of the United Families of LaVenture PTO group, we would like to thank Miriam and Rolo at CHAPALA Mexican Food & Taqueria on Waugh Road in Mount Vernon for the delicious chicken and steak burritos that were donated and passed out at no charge to the families at LaVenture Middle Schools 18th Annual Multicultural Night on November 7, 2024.

One week later came back (edit)... 10/10 again for the whole family. 👨🍳😘💋
Excellent food. Couldn't even take a picture cause it didn't last that long! So grateful to have this amazing place just down the road! 🙏🏻❤️ fast and friendly!!
