We went to Royal star in mount vernon about 2 months ago and had a great lunch. Went today wednesday mayo 7th and was dissapointed food was dry not fresh.

There is nothing to complain about. It's a buffet. If you stick to dishes that come out steaming hot, you'll be happy. The downfall here, as well as any buffet, is if it has sat for 20 minutes and is no longer fresh. I can enjoy this place as long as I choose caredully.

Great variety of seafood from crawfish, snow crab legs to baked oysters motoyaki, which is pretty rare. They also have a large assortment of deep fried food from deep fried breaded shrimp to deep fried squid and fries for whatever pleases your fancy. Pro tip: If you're looking for roast beef and ham on the weekends, you need to go before 8pm as the best cuts are gone by then and they run out of them. All the staff were friendly and tried to accommodate us as best as they could as our whole Ultimate team went there for dinner along with the parents. They gave us a separate dining area to keep us all together as we were over 50 people.

Took our Ultimate team here for dinner after a long day of playing. Perfect place for variety in food and large rooms for team seating atmosphere. The staff were great and welcoming! Highly recommend. Look forward to going back again next year when back in Burlington!

Prime Rib roast was horrid. The salmon was dry, the shrimp were hard and the sushi tasted old.
Food are excellent. People are very nice and friendly.. This place has lot’s of seafoods, fruits,dessert and any asian food you can think.They have roasted beef and ham also. For two adults with drinks we paid over $50 for dinner and it was worth it.Visiting Mt.Vernon and eating in this place is a treat for us.Thank you.We enjoy eating here while doing a Tulip Festival Show.

Priced fair, with a nice selection of Asian and American foods to keep most diners happy. Desert options are good. The staff is always busy rotating the selections of items so it's rare to find an empty tray.
