Love the cookies! Whenever I am in Mt. Vernon I like to treat myself to one of the big cream filled cookies. I am glad the bakery has gotten better organized since relocating from the Bistro space.

The goodies that brightened our Christmas Day and beyond are amazing....but pale in comparison to the sweet, generous and caring owner Nancy, who went completely out of her way to personally deliver her wares to me on 12/23...as if she already knew me! She sure does now, and I am so glad!!
I can't stress how much my daughter and l plan to continue our relationship with this wonderful group, food for sure, friendship & more!

Born and raised in the south, so my expectations for baked goods are high. My partner is gluten and dairy intolerant and she tends to eat alternatives from me to fit her dietary needs.
That being said, I have tried the bread and baked goods from Shambala Bakery and can confidently say these have the taste and texture of majority of regular breads and baked goods. We now just stock the house with her bread so that we never have to worry about anyone's dietary restrictions...
