Great beer selection plus full bar. The beer on tap was great, and the service was very good. The food was good, although fairly typical bar food. We ordered fish & chips, chowder, and a BLTA. It was the beer that stood out for us. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good prices.

My mom and I had a terrible experience here. We waited for an hour for lunch on a Monday (it wasn't crowded). The service was so poor that the waitress finally apologized and said she'd 'take care of the bill'. We took that mean that she would take the hit for 2 beers and one burger so we left a $20 cash tip. My mom just got her credit card statement - we were charged $39. So we paid $60 for 2 beers and one burger after spending almost 90 minutes there. Good grief!
What a disaster. We were on our way up to Canada and wanted to stop for lunch and a beer. It was a Monday (8/4) and the place wasn't crowded. They appeared to have only one server, but again, it wasn't crowded. My mom and I each ordered a beer and decided to split a burger. The beers came in due time, but the burger didn't come for an hour! We asked several times and the last time, literally asked the server if we should just give up and leave. Lo and behold, there was our burger. Because we'd been there for an hour and 15 minutes at this point, I asked for the bill and she brought us the wrong bill or just wrang us up incorrectly. I pointed it out and the waitress said, 'I'll take care of take of this.' I asked her what she meant by that and she reiterated that she 'would take care of it' as it was her mistake. We took that to mean that we wouldn't be billed. So we left a $20 tip because we didn't want her to be completely out of the lunch. My mom just got her credit card bill - they tagged us for $39 and we also left the $20 tip. So we paid $60 for 2 beers and one burger that took almost an hour and half! RUN AWAY!!!

Disappointing experience. The food was mediocre at best. The place was understaffed with the 2 guys managing the floor, food running, and waiting tables for all of the walk ins and the private event they had. To their credit, the servers did tell everyone they seated that they’d be back when they could. Just be ready to have the appetizer delivered at the same time as the rest of your food. Don’t bother ordering a salad. We had 2 at the table and a premade bag salad you get from the store would have been better than either.
There is a specific mention of being kid friendly. However that is the only “kid friendly” thing about this place. There are no kids cups, no straws, no crayons, no paper, no booster seats, no kids drinks (no milk, no juice, hope they’re good at drinking water out of a pint glass). They do have a laminated kids menu but it’s not like there is anything on it for them to do. It’s just a list of food items and a black and white picture the kids can’t even color. Literally they could spend $20 on Amazon and fix a lot of these issues but they’ve put no effort into it.

We are from Indiana on vacation hiking in the mountains and staying local. Decided to try this restaurant for dinner one of our nights, hands down one of the best places to eat so far. Service was impeccable, even though the guy said it was his first day. He was attentive and friendly, food was amazing especially the fries, and the drinks were awesome. I had the Friday special drink it was a cider with a shot of Fireball....it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. Highly recommend eating here! Great food, great service!

Feels cheap and serviced was slow even when nobody was here but us, the nachos where terrible, awful, mind blankingly sweet with the brisket also being absurdly sweet covered in almost a candy glaze, the guacamole was cheap and tasted like toothpaste, and there was maybe 5 jalapeno rings on the whole thing. Very disappointed, the ceaser salad was ok, but just let me down in every sense it could.
