I've always thought they had great Mexican food here. I especially love the quesadillas as they put lots of cheese on them and onions on the side. I will give a warning about their sauces to anyone who hasn't eaten here before, as they can be a bit spicy.
We grew up in east LA. La bamba is the closest any local Mexican restaurant gets to that traditional taste of authentic Mexican food. Posole and menudo are great examples. We will go to no other place. period!!!
I ordered pozole to go and I was very surprised how delicious it was. The portion was big which allowed me to save half for the next day. They packaged it in a plastic tub with plastic wrap so there was no spillage. It came with tostadas, three sauces, cabbage onions and radishes. I’m so glad I found a place that makes great pozole.
