The lamb korma here was THE BEST I have ever had. The portion of rice they give is really great too! Will absolutely come back again and again

We visited at the Tulip Festival Street Fair, so everything was outside. We got a plate with 4 different dishes. I liked 2 of them a lot, a third was decent, and one was meh. I'm sure it would've been amazing inside the restaurant with more control over food temp as well as order timing. The order came in chunks so there was a wait for the fried foods. Waiting for those meant not eating the order stuff while it was hot. Anyway. Street fair food isn't as great as controlled in a restaurant food.
Taste of India offers great food with standout dishes like the coconut curry and saag paneer. The prices are reasonable, and the location is convenient. A solid choice for Indian cuisine enthusiasts!

Review from an Indian-We came across this place after a visit to the tulip festival. We absolutely loved the food and the seasonal mango lassi. The garlic naan, paneer and pakoras we ordered were pretty authentic and tasty.Though the place has a pretty small indoor seating and some outdoor seats, the staff went above and beyond during the rush hours. The lady at the counter taking orders definitely deserves a shout-out for managing the crowd.Outside the restaurant there is a large park with a lot of public benches where a lot of people are spotted eating take aways from the taste of India. The parking is very nearby and convenient.Would love to visit this place again.

We wandered here after visiting the tulip farms. Highly recommend. Tasty food. Not too oily. No artificial food colours that I could see. The only gripe was that the naan was more like bread. But a great place overall. Not too many authentic good places like this in WA.

This is cute little place right next to the Skagit river in downtown Mount Vernon. The place is small with limited seating inside and outside. Due to the space constraint, they don’t make their Naan fresh in house but buy off the shelves. There is a public restroom right next door. Nice walk outside the restaurant. Parking is very busy. Street parking is free and limited.

Great experience all around! Had the tikka masala with prawns, butter chicken, naan, and the baklava - everything was very tasty. We called in and they were speedy to prepare (less than 15 minutes). We’ll definitely be coming back!

First time here and everything was amazing!! Got the butter chicken, tikka masala and samosa and garlic naan and can’t wait to go
A cute little hole in the wall Indian restaurant. The food is amazing and the people who run it are just the kindest. We have been coming back here for quite a few times now and it’s always a treat. Food is pricey, but that’s par for the course with local foods.
