We ordered spicy eggplant and veggies with peanut sauce. Food was good but they charged us $6 more than the menu stated when we specified vegan and didn't inform us of the up-charge. They said the vegan peanut sauce was different from the original version, therefore cost more. 🤬 Wait staff was slow... couldn't refill our water glasses.
I was disappointed. The menu online is not what was available at the restaurant. The spring rolls were not very good. Mushy veggies and no flavor. The pad see ew was tasty, but the beef was big tough pieces that were not edible. The crouching tiger salad was bland & had tough beef pieces. We will not go back there again. The waitress was very nice, and we gave her a large tip. She was the only one there.
Very nice and friendly place. Service was considerate and warm. Pad Thai was good but a little too much on the sweet side. Prices were reasonable.

The tofu larb salad is outstanding. It's not often that we find a vegan version of this dish so we were pretty happy. The rest of the food was good. Nice strong flavors. Service was fine and what person was able to explain what was vegan or could be with ease.
We had a good dining experience at Thai House in Mt. Vernon. The food was absolutely delicious, and we want to give huge compliments to the chef for the flavorful dishes. We ordered Tom kha, pad kee mao with tofu, chicken satay, basil fried rice vegetarian. Do ask for their spicy sauce if you wanna go up a notch. Everything was served quick. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was lovely. The portions were good for the price. Clean space to eat for sure.
The waitress was polite and attentive, though we felt a bit rushed towards the end as our plates were taken before we fully finished. It’s a small detail, but it did slightly affect the overall experience. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our meal here!
Vegetarian options: Everything you can think of. Has a large vegetarian section to pick and choose.

The staff were lovely and the food was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had in Washington but also not the worst. Prices were acceptable for the result.
It was maybe a little chilly in the restaurant but we were also wearing shorts.

I would never have expected to find a great Thai place in Mt. Vernon WA, but I did! The service was excellent, our waitress Veronica was so nice and helpful. The food was amazing!!! I was told the chef is Thai and I could tell. My compliments go straight to the chef. I highly recommend going to Thai House if you’re ever in the area.

The place is very old, it has good service but in particular I didn't like the pad Thai ?. But the appetizers were very delicious and probably the other dishes too.

TLDR; Great flavors at decent prices
We came in for a late lunch on a weekend and quickly got a table without reservations. Between the two of us, we ordered a Pad Thai with vegetables and the Massaman curry with tofu (which comes with rice!) - both at spice level 3
Both were really quite good and just the perfect amount of spicy. The Pad Thai is a bit tangy though. And the massaman curry literally only had ONE potato which was quite amusing. Overall, there’s really not much to complain- the flavors are great, the portion sizes are a typical American serving size and service is fairly quick.
Vegetarian options: Lots of option to make almost anything on the menu vegetarian.
Parking: Parking along the main road on both sides

Poor waitress was all alone so it took a while to get our order in. However, getting our food was extremely quick.
Food is incredibly cheap and the kids pay less than $10 for an adult portion. It’s basic Thai food but it does the job and again, price can’t be beat! We paid $30 for 2 kids and 1 adult. (Who can beat a $11.95 curry these days??)

Great food! Some of the best Massaman curry I’ve ever had!
