I am giving it a good review because I don't want to diss this place. The problem was that, based on Google, we thought we could stop in and dine but that was not the case. We were directed to a cooler to pick what we wanted. There were no vegetarian offerings available and only 2 hot meals they could heat in the back and a couple of salads. It may have fabulous food if you're here early enough and take it home, but if you're looking for a meal on the road this is probably not it. The people were nice though

We had the beef stroganoff last night for dinner after I had a long day of work in Seattle and had to drive back to Camano. It was the BEST thing to come home to a hot, delicious dinner, a less stressed husband (bc he didn’t have to make said dinner), and a meal that everyone in my family could eat (including the baby). To not have to worry about the ingredients I give my family is true peace of mind! The portions are generous and we always have leftovers. And it’s cheaper than eating out (which the baby cannot have), less time than eating out on those hectic days, and I can sit at my own dinner table in my sweat pants and get the kids to bed on time. An all around win.
My favorite meals are: any salads, beef stroganoff, Swedish meatballs, chicken Dijon, peanut Thai noodles. Oh and the Thanksgiving meal was PHENOMENAL last year.
Dietary restrictions: My husband is GF and to be able to order anything here is a huge win.
Kid-friendliness: My daughters will ACTUALLY eat the veggies in these meals.

This place is so wholesome. The food was truly out of this world good. I’m gluten free so it was so nice knowing I could order anything on the menu. They avoid a bunch of things in their cooking. Seed oils being one of them and that made this place all the more attractive. I stayed for hours doing some remote work on their WiFi. They were friendly the whole time. Got myself lunch and dinner by ordering curry butternut squash soup and then fresh veggie and sausage lasagna that had just come out of the oven! Wish gems like this existed in every town. Lucky to have happened on it!
Dietary restrictions: They cover most dietary restrictions naturally.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed in this place. The owner had her children there with a relative I believe. Plenty for the little ones to play with.

UPDATE- I reviewed the Skagit Table a while ago, but wanted to add to it! If I could give this place 1,000 star review I would!!! Since my first review I've tried many more of their dishes, and every single one has been FABULOUS! The staff is wonderful, which is a direct reflection of great leadership in the owner! I still highly recommend the Skagit Table!!!

Where do I begin?! The skagit table did an amazing job with our wedding dinner! We couldn’t have asked for better food on our wedding day. Each dish was delicious on you could tell the quality in every item used. We also utilized their bar services and table service for wine. Everything went so smoothly I couldn’t have asked for more.

Amazing food and Courtney gives so much back to her community. I am pretty sure TST is the only place in Skagit that doesn't use seed oils on top of using all fresh, whole foods, always gluten free as well. Huge plus!

Terrible catery. One dish was alright. Lamb was cold.
Salmon was poorly filleted. Don't think they bothered to cook the green beans. I can't cook and I could have done better. Do not make the mistake. Didn't bother to shuck or serve 1/5th of the oysters. Maybe it was a bad day but this was a terrible showing. Pretty much ruined the wedding dinner for my friends. Wedding was yesterday September 21, 2024.

I used The Skagit Table for drop off catering at a company eventfor 50 people. From the outset and throughtout the process the communication was exceptional. I ordered items from both the lunch and dinner menus. The food was delivered on time and everything was promptly set up for us. Menu and pricing are clear, portions are good, food is tasty. I whole heartedly recommend The Skagit Table and will use them again.

The Skagit Table catered my wedding in August. They put together the most gorgeous Charcuterie for cocktail hour and dinner was amazing!! Communication was amazing, I never had to worry they had forgotten my event and were so patient with my ever changing mind ❤️❤️ I often order lunch from their store front as well and am never disappointed!!!
My fiance and I hired The Skagit Table to cater our wedding reception. We had a couple of special dietary restrictions that we wanted to honor. They were completely open to listening to our ideas and the limitations of some of the people that we invited. It was a very small wedding but they came through in a big way. Every dish was absolutely delicious and every guest complimented the food because they enjoyed it so much. I would hire them again if/when I need them. My now husband and I have talked about taking cooking classes and I will absolutely reach out to them to do that when we're ready. I would also go to their restaurant and enjoy a night out with them and their food as well. I don't think I can say enough nice things about this company, the food they create, the people they hired and the service they provide. I will try to come back when I have photos so I can add some images to this review.
What we ordered:
Spring vegetable crostini
Grilled strawberry bites
Cruditase
Spring salad with lemon vinaigrette and sourdough rolls
Garlic herb roast chicken
Roast beef
Wild rice with salad vinaigrette
Broccolini

We hired the Skagit Table to cater our wedding at Christianson’s Nursery in July 2024. Based on the reviews, we had high expectations, and they completely blew us away! The service both before and during the event was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our special requests happen, and the food was absolutely AMAZING! And it wasn’t just outstanding for “wedding food”… it was incredible food period. Our photographer, who as been to countless weddings, said it was the best meal she’s ever had. For appetizers we opted for the crab cakes, crab deviled eggs, and fresh oysters, which were a HUGE hit with our guests! For dinner, we opted for the wild-caught salmon, citrus and rosemary chicken, black garlic mashed potatoes, wild mushroom risotto, broccoli with tahini drizzle, and grilled asparagus with whipped feta. Our guests are still talking about it. Many thanks to Courtney and Kat and the entire catering staff for making our wedding feast so wonderful! Cheers! (Photo by Rachel Joy Photography)

Amazing food - best quality ingredients ; grilled veggie salad had pistachio , fresh pesto; spicy carrots had local Samish Bay feta in base and citrus dressing - very easy to carry for our picnic lunch ; we requested a heated 3 portion Thai noodles with generous amounts veggies and chicken that we sat down and ate for lunch on real plates and with cutlery (hindsight - call ahead to get it heated for when you arrive)
Will recommend for anyone in Mt Vernon, headed in any direction - easy off and on to I-5 -just across from Skagit Co-Op in main 1st street.
