Just went to a movie at this location.Terrble experience. We ordered drinks that had no alcohol. $15.00. Talked to manager and he had a terrible attitude. He said the drinks HAD alcohol in them and that was the cost. Hey blew us off. I used to come here a few years ago and it was great. Not sure what happened, but needless to say I will never come back. The place is a dive. BTW, My son told me he came to a movie a few months ago and they ran out of butter. How do you run out of artificial butter.
Clean and showed movies the popcorn was so full of seeds it was inedible
Great beer choices. Comfortable seats and fun, snacky foods.
Fun place, good food, nice atmosphere
We’ve been to Cinebarre Mountlake Terrace many times, but tonight was the worst experience we’ve ever had.
It started at the bar—10+ minutes just to get two beers. There were only about 8 patrons in the whole place and 4 staff members. I had three different employees pass me seven times, each saying “just another minute”, but no one actually took my order until a full 10 minutes later. This was a quiet Sunday evening.
Inside the theater, our server—who said her name was Chloe—took our order for boneless wings, a pizza, and a boozy milkshake. The milkshake was refused not due to lack of ingredients, but because they “might get busy later.” That was the only reason given—dismissive and unprofessional.
Later, our food was delivered to the wrong people—friends we were sitting with. We said we’d just take it, but another server (not Chloe) said “It’s cold” and took it away—only to bring it right back out minutes later with my wife’s pizza. Her pizza was hot, but my wings were cold.
Worse yet, the friend who mistakenly received my order never got his—he had ordered bone-in wings, and waited nearly 30 minutes into the movie. Turns out, when they brought my food back, they told us, “Oh, we’ll just cancel the other one,” meaning his order was canceled without telling him. He ended up with nothing.
This used to be a fun spot, but between the slow and disorganized bar, cold food, canceled orders, and lack of basic service standards, we’re seriously rethinking ever coming back.
--UPDATE Tue, 29 July, 2025 10:31:56 AM - contacted customer service, and they made it right by providing 2 new tickets, thought this was a nice gesturel
I went to see fantastic 4 7/26/25(saturday) our server hand us the bill he said my card is expired. He asked me if I have a different card on file. My card doesn’t expire till July so it still be ok for me to used till the end of this month. Everything was fine.
UPDATE: The GM of Cinebarre reached out to research the payment issue. It has been completely resolved and was the result of a minor glitch in the payment process. Given Cinebarre's quick response to my issue, I have updated my review accordingly.
Went here to watch Superman this Saturday with my husband to celebrate my new job. Movie was great, food was solid and we had a great time overall. We had a great time!
Woke up today and suddenly, there's an additional $80 charge pending on my checking account from Regal which is quite baffling.
I just spent my morning with the bank to dispute the charge and get a new card just in case something went wrong somewhere.
With the exception of the additional pending charges though, everything was great.
Out of many items told multiple times sorry “we’re out of that tonight” popcorn was half kernels soda was flat. Seats haven’t been upgraded since before it was a 21 and up. I remember going to this location as a child and sitting in these same seats. Seat was being held together with duct tape. Avoid this location at all costs if you want a decent experience.
Quality has fallen post-COVID.
Attentive waitstaff. Picked good times to come through without interrupting the movie.

I've been coming here for years, ever since they opened. The screens and sound systems are nothing to be excited about, the seats are pretty comfy, but the best part...no kids, no teenagers!
The food and service have gotten worse since the Regal buyout. It used to be that the food was good enough to be served in a restaurant without a movie! Now the food is meh, and it seems like the service has gotten slower each time we've been.
I'm hoping it's just the staff adjusting to the buyout, but this place is still the best way to watch most movies simply because everyone is an adult!
It's an adults-only movie theater with a full food & drink menu, what's not to like?
We usually only go to early weekday showings here to avoid the crowds so I can't speak to primetime showings but the service is friendly, the food is good (great, if you consider the fact that it's a movie theater), and the staff is friendly and helpful.
There used to be a bit of a weird smell in the lobby but I didn't notice it last time I was there so whatever it was they seem to have dealt with it.
Decent food, strong drinks, good movies, what else do I need?!
Food is a little spendy for a restaurant, but cheap in comparison to concession food and tasty too!
This remains true, I love Cinebarre!
Enjoyed my time here watching a movie and relaxing with food and drinks. Waiter was prompt and very attentive to our orders.
