No. What is that sauce you put on my Teriyaki chicken ? I knew something was off as soon as you set it on the table and the smell hit my nose. I can't pinpoint the taste. Orange ? Sage ? What is it? And why was it thick ? This was not [normal] Teriyaki sauce. And they don't give enough of it. I normally would just ask for some more or grab some off the table if you had it on the table but the flavor was off so I didn't even ask for more. And there's none on...
At least they’re self aware in that it’s just “OK.”I’ve paid less for better in some sushi joints in Bellevue. A Bento B box, Seattle Roll, and Spider Roll were $44.77 after tax.The avocado in the rolls was less than ripe.And even though my nashers have torn through the toughest of proteins, they could not separate the seaweed in the rolls. The texture, cor, taste, sauces, seasoning, moisture, softness of the chicken, the freshness of the vegetables, and the richness yet not too rich teriyaki sauce mixture is almost to die for! Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki....
