People are great. We walked over to the beach and had lunch (sun was out). Fish and chips were excellent. The bar and tables eatings were clean and the best ?. Plenty of parking in back.

I returned to diamon not after 25 years since I visited it for the first time and both the atmosphere and its service are still the same or better, it seems to me that the place was expanded and improved, and to remember old times I asked to try their beer sampler, some delicious pieces of fried fish and a clamp shoulder.

Terrible service. Awful food burger had no flavor chicken was ok fish was the worst I've ever had. Server and other members out back vaping and talking while we hadn't been checked on or drink refilled in 30 minutes took 1 hour 15 minutes for food. Expensive and not worth the time or the money.

Food may have been ok, but we left before sitting down. Place had a a fowl oder and inside was covered in flies. Floor was also covered in peanut shells and appeared that tables weren’t wiped down all.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Disgusting, dirty, and bleak atmosphere. Flies all over the place, menus caked in food splatter. The air smells of dirty rags. Looks like the restaurant has the same dirt and filth from days prior. I felt dirty even sitting there. We weren’t greeted. Waited almost 10 minutes for bartender to show her face and have zero energy or pep in her step. Ordered 2 drinks off the menu and sent them back immediately after one sip, GROSS! Terribly made drink, tasted awful like bartender had no idea what she was doing. Ordered food. Bartender disappeared for 15 minutes so we walked out! Meanwhile there was a gentleman literally walking around the restaurant trying to find a server! Pathetic! When we were walking out there was no one to be seen anywhere! No one in the kitchen, no servers. Where did they all go? Out for a smoke break before starting to make peoples meals? Good lord….will not be coming back, nor recommending anyone come here. Someone call Kitchen Nightmares! Gordon Ramsey needs to help these folks!
Great place for a lunch with co-workers and saying goodbye to the one's leaving. The food is very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions.

We had two flights between us, and we liked all of them. Basically unheard of! The IPAs we're all unique and smooth. The bruschetta pizza was delicious, and the service was very friendly.

I emailed this to the manager on 1/25/24 to try to give them a chance to respond before posting and they never responded. Therefore, I am posting here.We are Old Town locals and have lived in the area for six years. Pre-Covid we loved going to Diamond Knot and went there quite often where we started thinking we needed to branch out to other restaurants. However, the food is wonderful and the menu is excellent. However, sometime during Covid things changed and it has never gotten better and actually seems to have gotten worse.Due to the fact that we love the food/menu, every few months we try to go back and try again to see if anything has improved, but always walk away disappointed. This past Friday (1/19/24) was no exception. We can always count on being there for at least two hours to eat dinner, even when we order right away, which is absolutely ridiculous. The servers always seem to be standing around and rarely come back to check on anything. We were waiting an hour for our food. The table next to us had their meal comped, but I believe they were the only ones. We observed tables being sat and never being helped so they walked out. Not one group was walked back to their table with menus. They were just told "you can take that one back there" and then just sat until the server was able to make it to them with menus.I am someone who usually nurses my drink the entire time I am there. Everything took so long that I had finished by the time we got our food so I ordered another one when our food was dropped off. I never received it, the server never checked back for the rest of the time we were there even though we tried to flag him down. I was forced to eat my meal without anything to drink and was ignored. When we finally had to ask for the check I asked for the drink to be removed. He said he would and that he would also remove my first one. To me, that was the least he could do. We previously would see the lobby packed, but do not see that anymore with how horrible the service has gotten.Everything we experienced is either incompetence or laziness. However, this week was actually theft on 1/23/24. My son went in with a group of his friends. He just got a root beer to go. He didn't tip as he was just a take-out soda. He brought the receipt home, which I'm sad to say that I threw away. I saw the pending charge on my bank that matched the receipt at $4.19. However, when the charge was posted it cleared for the amount of $7.19. This means that whoever ran the card added a $3.00 tip. You really need to look at your employees as I have never seen such horrible and dishonest service in my life.

I was really excited to go here; everything on the menu looked and sounded really good.The main course was pretty good. However, I'm a tater tot kind of gal and was reeeeeeally disappointed. Both the fries and the tots were way overcooked and flat out, just not good. Both the person I went with and I, neither of us finished the sides, and they weren't even good enough to take home... :((Otherwise, besides the waitress forgetting we existed (literally, she told us she forgot she sat us...) the sandwiches we got were really good.Edit: I'm looking over the pictures, and you can actually see how dry and overcooked both the fries and tots are, even the cheese on the fries look dry.
