Great little "hole-in-the-wall" place in Downtown Mukilteo. I wouldn't expect this place to be here, but I'm so glad it is! Authentic flavor, decor, and cooking style.2 people (I think) working so took a bit to get food, plan to spend at least 25 min waiting for your food and then however long it takes you to eat. I wish the Greater Seattle area had more quality jjajangmyun and jjampong places. Seattle definitely lacks this Korean-Chinese cuisine. This review is just for Umami's jjajangmyun and jjampong.Jjajangmyun was good in portion but OK in taste. The jjajang sauce was too sweet for my taste buds and the overall impression was that it would pass as an OK jjajangmyun. JJampong was also good in portion but it was more on the bland and plain side for taste. I wish I enjoyed their food...read full review

Had sweet and sour pork and black bean sauce noodles. They were perfect.The black bean sauce can be greasy at some places and may not stick to the noodlesso well, but but not here! The vegetables were fresh as well, and the meat generous. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return!
