Meagan at the front desk was awesome! So very helpful with getting me items after the outpost store had closed. Everyone there is so friendly that it gives the whole place a great vibe. Food is always good and the lounge is where you want to be. You are family on the mountain and Whistlin’ Jack’s is your home.

We stayed in the Prosser Cabin Bungalow and it couldn’t have been more perfect cozy, clean, and tucked away in a setting that feels both rustic and relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down and breathe a little deeper. The private hot tub was amazing starring up through the hundred foot pine trees.

Dinner was an absolute standout. We ordered the ribeye with French fries and mashed potatoes, and I have to say those fries were the best I’ve ever had (and I’m a total French fry snob). Perfectly crisp outside, soft inside, and seasoned just right with salt and truffle oil. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, easily one of the best steaks we’ve had anywhere.

The whole experience from the atmosphere to the food far exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back.

Awesome pit stop up the 410, perfect for a quick cup of coffee and a couple souvenirs from the gift shop. Our fire crew stopped by one day while working the Wildcat Fire. Wish we could’ve seen a show in their back area near the river!

The service, food, and atmosphere are amazing. This place is an unexpected treat on the east side of Chinook Pass.

I’ve never left a review like this before, but for this trip, I will. The room was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. No hooks anywhere, no closet, nowhere to put clothes. The hot tub only worked the first night, didn’t work beyond that, their response - “oh, sorry”. The room had cobwebs, and burned out bulbs. The inside of the door handle was smashed in, very ghetto. I swear, I took pictures. The staff, I found to be inconsiderate. The outside staff goes flying by you, in their four wheelers, leaving you in the dust, rather than stopping. The inside staff, oh sorry. They could care less about making anything right. But the area is truly beautiful!

This place is...was beyond great for a lunch stop while taking the mtn loop. We have been coming here for yrs now. It has always been a must stop. But...someone decided to redo the menu and remove the renowned Brussels 😡. Might be better to just drive on by now.

Recently had daughter's wedding here. Staff was great with set up, super helpful. Food has to be purchased through venue, the salad and vegetables were great, as was the lemonade and iced tea. The main courses:1 tasted like leftovers, it was overcooked and luke warm, a couple guests had warmer food, but the majority had barely warm food 2nd main dish was not fully cooked and barely warm. I contacted Whistlin Jack's after the wedding and was told the people they heard from said the food was great. Well it wasn't great and by reading the food reviews lately, our experience is the same as most of theirs, poor quality food at a very expensive price.

We had a business dinner here. It’s an interesting place. Away from civilization in the woods next to a river. We didn’t sleep over here just stopped for dinner. Burger was pretty good, Filet mignon wasn’t the best, server was okay not very attentive. Worth a try, a little pricey in my opinion.

Upon arrival for our 5:00 dinner reservations, we waited at least 5 minutes before being acknowledged. A table was cleared/cleaned off, my husband told her we had reservations, we were finally taken to our table. My husband’s fillet mignon was prepared perfectly, however my blackened salmon was overcooked & extremely dry. Might add the salmon is a bit overpriced. Of note it took over 30 minutes for our orders to be served. We hadn’t been to Whistlin Jack for several years, as our last experience there wasn’t favorable. With new ownership we wanted to be open minded & give them another chance. The dining room chairs are wore as springs can be felt. I’d think for a fine dining experience the tables would be adorned with tablecloths. First impressions are everything. We more than likely won’t be returning.

I have stopped here for gas and food a few times. The low quality food is expensive and the service is poor.

Don't waste your money going here. 1 star rooms with a 5 star price. Hotel room had extremely old furnishings, sagging old mattress, ripped & frayed mattress pad with dirty stained sheets! Dining room chairs in restaurant were exactly the same way. We felt pressured to order & eat in dining room. Had an appetizer & left. Whistlin Jacks is not what it used to be. Don't waste your time & money going here. Staff response when reported was like it was an everyday occurrence.

Do not bother. This place is an absolute joke. My husband and I stopped here a few weeks ago for dinner one saturday night, we walked in about 5pm, we had multiple employees walk right past us and not even say a word to us. We walked from the bar to the front host stand three times to try and find someone that could get us a table. The host actually walked right past us and asked the people that had walked in after us if they were dining in. As we stood and waited at the host stand for her to come back, I stood and watched almost every single employee stare at us blankly from the dining room. It was the absolute weirdest thing, I thought maybe we turned into vampires and no one could see us! I think we stood there for a good 5 minutes before I grabbed my husbands arm and walked out. What a joke. Save yourself the tourist trap and make your way another 10 minutes down the road and go to the woodshed. That place is amazing. My suggestion to the owners, find yourself some employees that actually care about delivering good customer service and know how to greet someone when they walk into your establishment.
