We visited Calvin’s twice during a recent visit to the area. Both times we received prompt, friendly service.
We can recommend the delicious coffee and cinnamon rolls, and the fried halibut was the best!

We came in to celebrate my partner's birthday, he ordered the crab and fries, I ordered prawns and fries, and we ordered a bowl of chowder to share. The good: My prawns were cooked perfectly, his crab was tasty, and the tartar was was delicious. The bad: The fries were meh, not at all crispy, and they were dark like the oil was getting old. The ugly: The "chowder" was bland broth with overcooked onion and celery (I think, it was both but they were mush), chunks of potato, and some chopped clam. No seasoning, just like chicken broth with clam and potato. We threw most of it away.

$22 for a little tiny cup with a raised bottom so it looks like more crab, and not even filled up, is an absolute rip off. Wish I had gone somewhere else.

This is what happens when they ask you to tip before you get served your food (I tip 20%)

Oh my gosh!! The crab was delicious. Already plucked and placed in a container with warm butter on the side. The fries were as good as they look too.

I saw the baked goods and had a rocky road fudge piece ; loved that so much I bought two as we were leaving.

There are also unlimited coffee flavors to choose from or mix and match. The staff was friendly and they bring your order out to you as you relax on an Adirondack chair.

No seating inside, and limited seating across the street. But worth it. We did have a bit of a wait for food, but we enjoyed the views while we waited and it was worth the wait.

I wouldn't make a special trip for the food here, it was pretty bland and forgettable.

Cute little walk up seafood shop. The fried fish & the clams were fresh and crispy. The crab meat was pulled out of the shell and served with warm butter. We sat outside in the beach chairs and picnic tables and watched the waves and the seagulls while waiting for them to cook the food. It took around 20 min.

Perhaps I should have ordered crab instead of fish. With commercial fishing boats in view, I expected more like scotland fish and chips. Nice view though.

The Dungeness Crab is a must if you like crab. Super fresh, big chunks. Served cold with warm butter! Great service, amazing goodies in the case.
