Having never been to Neah Bay before, and having stopped many places between Spokane Washington and there, having inferior expressos the whole way, what an absolute pleasant surprise to find native grounds espresso, is now my single favorite coffee shop away from home. I can be pretty picky and they made my mocha absolutely perfect the way I like it the first time! we will be returning as often as we are able, if not just for the coffee!
100% the best coffee, pastries, and burritos of our entire vacation!!!

Native Grounds Espresso is a gem serving wonderful coffee, sweets, and a variety of food offerings. The strawberry muffin and yuzu cheesecake are both delicious, and the cobbler pastries and mango madness drink are also highlights. The breakfast tacos are very well made with a sizeable portion, super tasty, and incredibly inexpensive at only $11. The Ume cheesecake, looking like a blueberry cheesecake, is utterly incredible—light, flavorful, and not too sugary. The French toast comes with two eggs and a sausage patty, rich and plenty sweet enough without syrup. Customers are impressed with the friendliness, freshness, and overall quality, noting it is a local, family-owned business. Be aware there are no public restrooms, and as a 2-person operation, a slower pace should be appreciated. The coffee is delicious, and the prices are incredibly inexpensive for what you get.
