We have been lucky enough to have learned about Yea’s Wok soon after we moved to the area in 2007. We were told it was the best Chinese food in the entire Greater Seattle area, and it has been true—in fact, I’ve lived all across the US and I might be so bold as to say that it’s the best I’ve ever had. Excellent food that tastes, fresh and is light and doesn't have all the heavy stuff other restaurants have. You can usually get seated quickly.Because there's a lot of room and the service is really nice. It's a great place to have lunch/dinner with friends or family.
The chow mein tastes exactly how it's supposed to, which sounds insane, but I swear it makes sense. The food is consistently cooked to perfection, the staff are super lovely, and the vibe is comfy. There is a fish that will stare at you uncomfortably depending on where you're seated, but I think that's a feature rather than any kind of detriment.
