Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. My family and I ate here every Sunday when I was growing up. After 10 years away, I moved back to Bellevue and finally visited Yea’s Wok again and it was even better than I remembered. Maybe it’s just nostalgia but it’s truly one of my all-time favorite restaurants.
Praised by my mainland Chinese friends as one of the most authentic spots in the Eastside area, after finally visiting, I agree.
Warning: Skip this place if your benchmark for Chinese food is Panda Express-style Americanized dishes. This is the real deal.
We ordered the 三杯鸡 (sān bēi jī) – Three-Cup Chicken – and it was spot-on: rich basil-garlic-sesame aroma, tender meat on the bone, exactly as it should be in a proper Taiwanese...

This place is a mainstay in the area but I don't think it has a ton of flavor in many dishes. I like the mu shu pork, but other things can taste like cornstarch. This summer I bit down on a piece of metal in one of their dishes, I was surprised they wouldn't have noticed it as it was about an inch long by half an inch wide, looked like part of a pan handle. I would have previous given 4 stars (for the options in this area) but have downgraded to 3 as a result.
