We were on vacation to visit the wife's family up here in this beatiful little town of Newport , Washington. They wanted to take me out for mexican food. Now being from California and also a very full blooded mexican , I was weary of the flavor or the spice. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the food is actually very good. Refried beans were on point , the Spanish rice was well made and the enchiladas and meats had perfect flavor. They also bring you a nice cold mug...
In general, we have not been impressed with the Mexican food in the PNW. The food in the MI Pueblo restaurants in Spirit Lake and Newport are an exception. The food is tasty and comes hot. I would highly recommend this location.
What a wonderful treasure !!!! The food was excellent, fresh tasting and delicious . The cabbage slaw was amazing . The salsa was fresh with a just right kick !!! The portions were very generous . I love Mexican food and this place was on point . The service was friendly and prompt .❤
