Not sure what food the previous reviewers had but the food is very basic, several items clearly canned food. The cheese board had pre sliced cheese and canned olives with smuckers jam, truly disappointing. For the price it is not at all worth it. Only reason 3 stars is for the wine, which was decent.

Our female food server the tall lady seemed indignant at being a good server perhaps. She either doesn’t understand how to manage a customers table and service or is not being taught how to do so. After our appetizers and drinks she simply would not remove the dirty dishes or empty glasses after ordering more drinks. It was unpleasant. I finally stacked them myself and put them on the edge of the table but the message didn’t register. Finally after a while another waiter saw them and took them away. Also after asking for salt and pepper I waited a long time and had to ask again. The food is great but a non attentive aloof waitress can really ruin the experience. Sorry.

Pretty disappointed. The food here really is amazing. But the service has gone downhill. My boyfriend and I used to come here all the time and it’s been one of our favorite spots. It used to by the owner that was typically serving us, but the last few times it has been someone else (family members). During our first bad experience, our order came out wrong. When we placed the order, we specifically remember the server repeating it back, so not not sure how she wrote the wrong item on the ticket. However, because we loved this place so much we didn’t care and it was an easy fix. But then the second item came out…our prime rib was completely RAW. And I mean seriously raw. At this point, we were a bit upset and just got it in a box to go and finished cooking at home. We were also not happy with how unprofessional the server was being. We came back a few weeks later, bringing family along because we still loved the food here and wasn’t going to let one bad experience ruin it. A family member ordered the shrimp and scallop Vera Cruz. Boyfriend ordered seafood pasta. After my family member was a few bites in to her shrimp/scallop dish, we realize that there are no scallops. We ask the server and she states “you said no scallops so that’s what I wrote down”. No idea where she got “no scallops from”. Now my boyfriends dish…multiple cracked shells all throughout his pasta. They also messed up his drink. It’s just unfortunate because we really loved this place and the food does taste amazing. The chefs are incredible. However, service is a huge part of a dinner experience. Especially when you are spending this much money. Not sure if it’s because its family members working with each other and they are too lax, but they really need to get it together with the service side of things. Be a bit more professional. When I’m out on a date, I don’t need the servicer chatting us up…they also took at least 30 minutes to remove finished drinks/app dishes from the table and took a long time to get our entree order in. We had to ask to have things cleared. Just a bad experience when you spend this much money on a meal..

If you’re in North Bend and want to feel like a local this is the place. The food and local wines are great, the atmosphere is very cool and the owners make you a part of the family the moment you walk in. We had a great dinner here and it was a highlight of our WA trip.

Tonight was our first visit to this wonderful restaurant in North Bend. A friend recommended it and what a great recommendation it was. The salmon chowder had great flavor and a nice texture. The Wagyu burger was cooked perfectly. They must’ve experimented with buns and sauces as the burger held together until the last bite. The steak salad was delightful. The server was attentive and kept our water full. We look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic service at the bar today. Bartender was helpful and executed his duties with ease. Generous portions of very tasty food along with tons of local options on the tap list. Men’s restroom is set up kinda weird but hey, you do you.

To start off with the good; the cocktails and drinks here are very good. Very cozy dinning room with a beautiful rustic interior. However most of this upscale experience was tainted by a couple of things. My party felt over dressed despite this being a bistro, we walked in and were greeted by whom I assume is the owner wearing an under-armor sweatshirt and joggers. She was very nice though and treated our party well. The food didn’t leave an impression on us one way or another. All in all an ok place, much more casual that I expected.
