It was cold & rainy (surprise!) so l wanted soup. I got “war” wonton, i.e. wonton with added chicken, shrimp, & pork. It was actually really good- fresh, hot but not burn my tongue hot, and very tasty. Nice atmosphere too, well-furnished and cozy. My only complaint is the 1978 piano lounge music playing- repetitive and boring- makes you wanna get the hell out before Liberace shows up and ruins the egg foo yung.

Went for lunch with my family, and had the lunch plates. The portions were HUGE, and so good! The prices are great for the amount of food you get. The egg rolls and egg drop soup were amazing as well!

I went in today with a friend. We were the first there for lunch time. We ordered the garlic green beans, the nine flavor beef, had cha, and steamed rice. It was all fresh and excellent. I am so glad I decided to stop in today. I’ll be going in for yum cha tomorrow! Quite a few years ago I used to get the house special pancit pretty frequently and today I’m happy with my new choices.
