Thank you Seabolt Restaurant for accommodating us with our dog! The team was so nice and kind. The servant had a lot of patience listening to the kids, and checking with the kitchen what was available. Loved the environment.. the TV showing the deep ocean... The pictures on the walls matching very well the ocean topic of the restaurant... the food... In few words... EXCELLENT. Very good job to management making everything just perfect. A great experience. Amazing seafood. We had rice with a mix of sea foods... Fish... Chowder.. mussels.. very good. Thank you!!

Hard shell tacos on the menu but don't try to order, you'll be denied if the kitchen is too busy. Here's a tip don't put it on the menu if your customer can't order it. Very disappointing

We had a terrible waitress that ruined our first and last time visiting this restaurant. Took forever to acknowledge us and by then we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. Then she never brought our soup/salad until I asked after I saw the table next to us get theirs (they had a different waitress) even though they were seated at their table after we already placed our order. Then when our meals finally came, she forgot mine. My entire family was done eating and I still never got my food. Finally we flagged down the other waitress and she went and checked on it and brought it out and said she wouldn't charge for my meal but by then I had to scarf it down, couldn't really enjoy it, because my family had been done eating for a while and we all just wanted to leave. Please train your waitresses better. Not sure of she was new or incompetent because being a waitress is not the job for her and she made your restaurant look bad. We won't ever go back.

Best mussels on or around Whidbey Island! Had to come back again they were that good. Don't remember the name of the guy who served me both times, but if he wanted to pass on that recipe I'd be very grateful!

We are visiting Whidbey Island from out of town and for a deli style restaurant the food was absolutely phenomenal. The Chowder was amazing and their bread was really good if we are ever visiting the area again we would definitely come back.

I read the reviews about the clam chowder so we figured we should give it a try and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was very busy and the staff was working their tails off to keep up and the did a great job! The clam chowder is absolutely fantastic! My wife and I really like trying clam chowder everywhere we travel around the US and Seabolts can definitely hold its own! Highly recommend!

I got the garlic bread, calamari, and penncove mussels. All of which was really good. The garlic bread was very garlicy which I personally love. Reasonable price for the food you get. Gets busy and doesn't have a ton of seating. You can reserve ahead.

Made the mistake of going there for my birthday. We made reservations the day before. I thought it was going to be great but we waited AN HOUR for our food. The party next to us was a party of six but they got double tables. We were a party of 5 but we got one small table. The other table next to us showed up well after we were seated and they were served and paid up & left way before we were even served our food.We were not even so much as given an apology or anything after all was said and done. Completely incompetent staff. And yes, we were polite and friendly with the servers so it wasn't like we did anything to deserve this treatment. I Promise you this! ?Not even saying this because I'm angry. These are FACTS! Maybe you will get great service like the other tables. Perhaps you will get crapped on like us. But for the over inflated prices I wouldn't risk it.Thank you Seabolts for making me look bad in front of those I wanted to show a great place to go to. Will never come back again! ?

Good food but deeply disappointed with service! People who showed up after us got their food and were gone while we were still waiting for our order. Never again!

We have just finished eating at Seabolt's for our last time. I will be gracious and say that the food is quite good. That, unfortunately, is the only good thing I can say. We will never return. The food is good, but we can make it home. The restaurant experience is not only about the food. We've eaten at Seabolt's several times over the past few years and while the food is good, the service is absolutely horrendous. Mind you, the staff are not mean, nor uncaring, but the number of things that are forgotten or missed is just unacceptable. A few years ago, someone had forgotten to place the beer in the refrigerator (btw, if you serve beer in a can, you should bring a glass automatically). Fortunately, I enjoy British culture and warm beer doesn't bother me. Most Americans...not so much. Our next time, the server forgot our silverware, even after I reminded him. I had to remind him twice. Then in the same meal, he only brought half of my wife's meal, and again, it took two reminders to get the full meal. And these are not complex meals. Bread and seafood. That's it. Two items should be on the plate. They were not.Tonight was the last straw. We arrived about five minutes early for our reservations at 6 pm. We were seated quickly enough and received our drinks. We ordered an appetizer and then we waited. This probably took about 10 minutes. At this point, another group came in and were seated next to us. We were still having a good time at this point so it's not as though we observed the other group carefully. What I do know is that their meal arrived, they ate their meal, and they left the restaurant, all before our food had arrived. When I inquired as to whether we had been forgotten, I was told that we had not. There had been some sort of issue with one of our orders and that since we had ordered an appetizer, they (the staff) were allowed to push us back in the queue. This is an absolutely horrid policy. Because we are spending more money, then the the timeliness of our meal is less important? We felt insulted by this. A long wait is understandable. Things happen. But folks who came in AFTER us should never have been served before us. And the timing certainly shouldn't have been so atrocious that they were able to order, eat and LEAVE before our food had even arrived. At the very least a server should have come to us and explained whatever the problem was.Perhaps Seabolt's should focus on the seafood sales and just close the restaurant. We certainly won't be back.

I would give it a 4.5 irl. The food was really good if you’re craving fried seafood and/or clam chowder. I’d say the clam chowder was better than pike place market. The portions are large, especially for the captains platter. Would strongly recommend!

Really good food, but be prepared to wait a while for it. We waited around an hour for four people. The chili lime tartar sauce is the best
