Sushi Moto Japanese Restaurant

The sushi and bento boxes here are very good with good flavors. My only critique of this place is the prices are super high for sushi. It is good and good quality but there are other places like this that have lower prices.

Great sushi selection! Seared sea scallop nigiri is really great! Really nice atmosphere. Service was on par.

One thing that was kind of disappointing, I ordered mochi to go to share with a friend, the menu lists “4 pieces” and when I got back and opened the box it was TWO PIECES, EACH CUT IN HALF☠. LIKE BRUH. Not to be a big back but yall did me dirty on that!

I’m Japanese and I feel like I know what I’m talking about. This place is mid to low tier. Miso soup just salty no umami, rice was mushy or was cooked w too much water, bulgogi wasn’t too bad, tempura not bad but salmon was weirdly fishy.

I can pass on this next time.

First time ordering here and likely my last. Ordered for pickup, staff were friendly and the interior was nice.

The food on the otherhand was not that great. I ordered the unagi roll and it was so tiny and cost $12. On top of that I think they just used the skin of the fish to stuff it which was thin and chewy, and the sushi rice was soggy. I'd much rather eat grocery sushi. Also ordered the bulgogi bento. The meat tasted good but was really oily. There was tempura and fried dumplings which they gave a generous serving of but they were mostly over done and super greasy as well. The side salad was just iceberg lettuce and some mayo dressing. It was quite a disappointing and expensive meal.

They say they’re open til 8:30 but they lock the doors at 8 which is false advertising and just stupid.

Ordered a sushi roll for 19 bucks was a little tiny thing with a little eal sauce on top tempura shrimp inside and eal, nothing else tasted super fishy. We both ordered different bento boxes nothing in them where good not even the salad old. Do not waste ur money

This place was so cute! Service was great. The sushi was sooooo good! I tried ramen for the first time getting the spicy one and it did not disappoint. Super yummy.

As someone who loves to go to Japanese restaurants, although this was mostly a sushi place, I was able to find some cooked offerings. Cooking tables, however, which is what I'm used to in a Japanese restaurant. I go there for one thing and it's their ramen bowl which is fantastic. The service is friendly and quick.

I’m sorry to say but the quality of the sushi was very poor. The rolls were covered in an inch of unrecognizable goop that seems to be marinated in Frank’s Red Hot, and the rolls themselves consisted of low quality ingredients. The girls at the counter were very friendly and welcoming, so it’s too bad the food was of such poor quality. For the price I would NOT recommend.
