I will never go back to that place. Not organize at all, people were waiting for their food. Other people got food before other people. Yes, I will not go back. The food wasn't that great too.

The server was quite rude about the mask mandate. And then food came out cool, not warm or hot. Worst baconcheese burger i have ever had. Asked me how I wanted it cooked and still ran it thru a dehydrator. Very blan tasting....

Now Barbe-Queen, there are about 10 tables (5 - 4 tops and 5 - 2 tops) in this quaint restaurant that changed owners summer of 2021. Menu is still undergoing changes so I asked waitstaff and ordered the Polynesian Monroe plate. Hawaiian BBQ sauced chicken thigh was excellent and I'm glad I tried it instead of larger Loco Moco. Don't be in a rush as you take in small town life. I look forward to seeing updates to décor and exterior that matches the island vibe.

This place has been a favorite of mine for years , but lately the management has changed along with the wait staff. The waitress was very impersonal and unprofessional, it's a small place and the customers don't want to hear her complain about them as they eat. Very disappointed. And the menu is changing too. No good! WHY CHANGE A GOOD THING , THIS PLACE HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL FOR YEARS . DONT MESS WITH IT!!!

We have been visiting the Berry Patch every year since we discovered it more than 15 years ago. When I ask my (now adult) children the places we can't miss while vacationing on the peninsula, Berry Patch tops the list. The calamari and fries is our number one order, too! We will be back in 4 days, and can't wait!

The new menu is awesome with some very large portions. I'm happy to know there is a Monte Cristo on the peninsula. Service was slow but friendly and informative.
This place has changed hands and is now Barbie Cue (or something like that). The food was good once we got it. They need to speed up the time it takes to get orders out. Hopefully, they will work that out soon. It would also be helpful to have vegetables in their bowl offerings.

Went for breakfast with my daughter. We both had chicken fried steak with the works. Great service, very friendly atmosphere and really good food!

The halibut and chips was pretty good. The halibut had a very light and crispy crust on it, just how I like it. It was tasty, though slightly on the dry side. The tartar sauce was very good as well. I am not a huge fan of the very tiny fries, though they tasted fine. I am just more of a steak fry kinda guy. I didn't touch the coleslaw as it is not something I like.Service was friendly and it seems like the kind of place where the people are very close knit with a lot of family and regulars. The staff seemed quite friendly as well. I would come back to try some other stuff for sure.My biggest complaint has to be the fact that they only take checks or cash. Or you can pay $2.25 to use their ATM. That in itself may keep me from coming back, as I rarely keep cash on me and don't like paying ATM fees needlessly.
