Food was delightful, service was awesome and the environment was very homey. We loved all of the food but the scallop risotto was really really delicious. Glad to have more wonderful meals from Chef Paul, we definitely missed his cooking after the Vancouver years!
Update: Again had a wonderful meal and tried some of the new items on the menu (Boar Pappardelle and Peppermint panna cotta were soul healing). Still one of our favorite restaurants, Chef Paul and his team are the best at what they do 😃

This place has the best service. My husband and I (recently married) visited Long Beach for a weekend getaway and stopped here for dinner. The restaurant is small and homey paired with amazing staff and service. Overall it was such a great experience! We came less than an hour before close, we didn’t know they were closing down BUT they didn’t make us feel bad about it and the chef reassured us not to rush. After talking with our waiter a little we told him we were recently married to which he brought us a special free bread & cheese plate and even played our first dance song from our wedding over the speakers and let us dance to it again. Along with the great wait staff the chef was fantastic as well! You can actually have a conversation with him as he’s cooking your food! He created a great tasting menu, the seafood was delicious!! And we even snagged a picture with them after! Thanks so much Mycovios!

I had to ask my wife if I was over-using the word fantastic, because I just couldn't stop gushing about how absolutely fantasic everything about dining at Mycovio's was! The atmosphere was lovely, very inviting, intimate, and just a great vibe! The service was phenomenal, very attentive without being overbearing, excellent recommendations, and perfect timing with every dish. And the food - wow! So fresh and flavorful and complex in all the right ways, perfectly portioned and left us completely satisfied without being overfilled, and just absolutely delicious! I will 100% be back and I highly recommend visiting if you can.

Took my wife for our anniversary here 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic! I had their lasagna, she had shrimp and polenta. Both were delicious. Took my in-laws there tonight, I had the spaetzel with scallops. So tender and flavorful! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Both times the wait staff was attentive and friendly. Chef Paul introduced himself the at our first trip and remembered us this trip. So proud to have a destination restaurant in our town.

Mycovio's is in my opinion one of the best places to eat in the Pacific North West. And please take it from me because I've been all over the PNW! Chef Paul insists on the very finest & freshest ingredients and he only seats about 14 at a time so, it's a very personal dining experience including Chef Paul visiting every table! Simply put It's the best! and we drive 7 hours to get there from Eastern Oregon :) When we visit the Peninsula it is always on our list for dinner.
