Not as big as it used to be in the days when there was a carnival, but you can still expect great scratch made German food and local beer, as well as imports. There's a street market, town museum, yard sales, 8-man high school football on Friday night, bed races on Thursday night, a parade Saturday morning, and all the small town charm.
Please note, this is NOT a restaurant. Its a festival and I am not sure when it's held. Also, if you drive through Odessa on the weekend, you will not find any food establishments open, just an FYI from a local lady I spoke to.
Just happened onto this little street party, most folks dressed in Bavarian type clothing and in trend food was same. I would recommend getting off the big road and visiting places like this. Most excellent.
