I came in the afternoon and I ordered the Breakfast sandwich and the Hot Wings on the menu. The Breakfast sandwhich was the kind of delicious that makes you role your eyes in surprise and was easily worth $6. After I devoured that I was brought my hotwings. Even just smelling the hotwings cleared out my sinuses and made my mouth water with urgency. The taste is perfect, the wings are large and the spicey level is perfect. Just enough real burn from real hot wings without needing to douse yourself in water. This place has the best food prices in town on food and that Tavern fare you already love. Now onto the other parts of 4th Ave Tavern. The interior reminds me of a frontier tavern, with a worn away floor and that Washington wood interior that is so common in Seaside and mountain Washington towns. The building is clearly old and I wonder how patrons have pass through here since its construction. There are plenty of bar games and pool tables and a side patio. On the weekend nights this place is jammed with locals and those in town looking for a good time. Even with the crush of people all around, I still navigated my 80 pound puppy through here with ease. Every one was polite and kind and I enjoyed the atmosphere along with a drink. My review is, come here and eat and drink and watch Seahawks games. Mind your manners!

I have enjoyed this tavern for years. Always has good service and good cold drinks.The events can get packed but it's a good tavern, what can you expect?The only thing recently I noticed needing attention was the pool tables. Some of them need to be serviced. The bed cloth of the pool tables is coming loose or bubbling.

Weird as hell vibes downtown half the time but I feel safe and respected overall in this cultural mecca of downtown Oly. Burger for $10 is a screamin good deal! Cheapest full lunch and PBR you’re gonna find on 4th and prepared correctly.

Not for the faint of heart or the impatient, but the cheeseburger and fries are excellent when they come, and the staff was very nice. Pool tables worked well.

They don't know how to make drinks and they stolen my friends Kitten from him when he was not even in the bar Update from after owners commented: I was right there and your cook for the night was the one who took the kitten stop lying!!!
