Anthony's Hearthfire Grill Olympia

Anthony's was offering a $25 of $75 special for Saturday, January 17 dinner only. We wanted to watch the Seattle Seahawks, so we made reservations to sit in the bar and watch the game with dinner. Although not a bar and grill, it was an excellent choice. We received excellent food and service while watching our hometown team play and get cheered on by not only us, but by the wait staff who were also cheering on the team. Not our typical Anthony's dinner date, but it was perfect for this occasion.

We decided to chose the Happy Hour menu. We were not able to get a window seat due to that choice. 2 diners had mixed reviews on their food. Mine was great.

Great food and service. Beautiful sunset. Got the half chicken dinner which never disappoints.

Service was slow. Waiter took our drinks and never returned them. Our food was luke warm and obviously sat under the heat lamp for sometime as the plates were warm to the touch.

Always a lovely meal in a lovely setting. Earlybird dinners are great value and there's less of a crowd, although somehow it is still rather noisy. Surfaces are hard so reflect sound, and tables by the window are relatively close together. Still, I keep going back because the food is so good and the view is so relaxing.

First of all, I have never had a poor meal at any of the numerous Anthony's venues in Washington or Idaho, and the Hearthfire Grill in Olympia was no exception. Second, the evening got off to a great start when "Sophia" graciously welcomed us and seated us at the table we had requested in our OpenTable reservation. "Stephen" greeted us at our table and remained a friendly, attentive (without being instrusive) server throughout the evening. The view of the Puget Sound and Olympics cannot be beat (I do not think there is a table with a bad view in the entire restaurant), and the restaurant is very attractive inside with plenty of parking outside. We ordered Huckleberry Lemonade w/ Vodka, Roasted Pear Martinis and a Top Rung Amber Ale (the Roasted Pear Martini was particularly good). For meals we had the Jambalaya (hot and tasty, but a bit soupy for my Southern palate), and the Wild Alaska True Cod 'n Chips (hot and flavorful). The presentation for both was very nice, though the portion for the Jambalaya was a tad minimal given the $29.00 price. Generally, the prices tend high, but then the magnificent venue, tasty food and beverage plus a wonderfully gracious staff make the investment worthwhile. I would suggest checking out the Happy Hour menu (bar area only), or their Sunset Dinners that all seem a good value. Overall we had a delightful and delicious time and I/we will definitiely return.

The food and the view out the window was great. But wine knowledge and delivery needs some refinement. A question about our first bottle caused delay as no one seemed to know anything. Then the waitress would not find the key to the wine case causing a further long delay. On the second bottle request it again took a long time only to be told that they were out of that selection. Then we were offered an alternative that was not discovered until the check was delivered to be $20 more than what was requested. Not good.

The crab and sheimp dip was not great tasted like just mayonnaise- salmon chowder was goid - focaccia bread had way too much salt

Excellent food, drinks, server, and environment. Beautiful views of the bay as well. Overall great experience

Very enjoyable dinner, food was very good along with the service. First time here, we will be back!

Great service we had the fixed prize meal which had three salmon choices. Great service. Good flavor not spectacular but good. We would go again.
