The food is fantastic, the service is attentive and friendly and the "ambiance" is typical small cafe!

I'm updating my review because I've tried this place under different circumstances. Crappy day when the weather makes everything depressing? Happy tummy. Solo? Happy tummy. Rumbly tummy? Happy tummy. Literally, every single time I come here, I leave with a happy and slightly over full stomach. The wait is getting a little longer these days because I think people are catching on that this is the place to make your tummy happy, but if you want a retro boho style atmosphere with some of the best breakfast/brunch/lunch you've EVER tasted, you NEED TO COME HERE AT LEAAT ONCE IN YOUR LIFE. And if the French bread is on the specials, get one piece to share with your dining companion. If you aren't fighting over the crumbs and syrup, you just aren't doing it right.

Bits was such a cool place to eat! My boyfriend got the breakfast special and I got eggs Benedict . The food was really good and our waitress was really nice

Initially given a wait time of 25-30 min. 1 hour later I'm still sitting on a leather couch waiting for a table while watching food leave the the kitchen. I'm having existential thoughts about life and death pondering the decisions that have led up to this moment. At one point maybe 15 minutes ago I opened the uber eats app on my phone. What a rush. I suppose in Olympia the appropriate amount of time to clean a table is 12 minutes and 19 seconds, but only after prompting the wait staff to get it ready for the next party. They did apologize profusely for the delay but I think better management and allocation of duties would probably speed up the process. The food was good. I had the scramble and bottomless mimosas. Our second round of mimosas contained 0.3% alcohol.

Food: 5/5 good food always great specials Service: 5/5 the nicest people work here I always enjoy breakfast here Ambiance: 5/5 Expect a little wait for a table on the weekends but it's worth it.

Trust me in this. It's for locals. Had three sets of "locals" taken around us before we were sat. We were then left at the table with no one even glancing our way. However everyone else was getting refills on their coffee and talked to as if old friends. Especially at the bar. They got preferential treatment. We left after 20 minutes. We live half hour away and was excited to try it being new to the area. My money spends where I get service.

Love this place. Everything about it.A great casual breakfast place and friends' meetup spot for a bite of good food.I think they have more than breakfast?...look it up!The home fries...crispy on all sides! The Benedict...excellent ham, homemade and spectacular Hollandaise. The poached egg...solid whites and perfect runny yolks (super fresh egg) to soak into my optional gluten free toastFrench toast looked scrumptious and the biscuits looked excellent....next time! The staff and owner...warm.and kind. The weekend wait?...coffee and cups and cream await you..no begging the busy staff...go pour yourself a cup and chat or people watch or stare at your shoes. BITS is worth the wait.Dietary restrictions: I got gluten free toast with no eye rolls.

Very good place for brunch. Excellent service. Keep in mind the place gets very busy on weekends so you might need to wait a little bit.

Okay, so yeah, you're gonna wait a bit at brunch time, but it's worth it. Lovely ambiance, friendly service and coffee as you wait. The eggs benedict is delicious and the french toast outrageous. Definitely worth the the wait.

Fantastic all around -Service: Excellent service, even with their dishwasher out - prompt, friendly & offered great advice on what to try. Genuinely seemed to care that we had a lovely experience.Atmosphere: We sat at the counter and not only is the decor great with push greenery, but the seating was comfortable. Great job using the space to bring calm, happiness, and comfort.Food: Good lord, just incredible. One of my favorite breakfast experiences every bite was stellar. Their brioche French toast special with lemon poppyseed berry compote was simply divine - among the best French toast I've ever had. The special breakfast with goat cheese, balsamic reduction, eggs and spinach was rich and a delight for the taste buds. And the smoked salmon Benedict? So tasty, every bite was perfect and brought an excellent mix of flavors. I would happily eat each dish that we got regularly.Bonus: If you're a hot sauce lover, Bits boasts 4 shelf's of hot sauce options! Very fun to mix and match.+ If there's a wait there's bottomless coffee before you sit down and they have lovely seating inside + outside to wait at!All in all an amazing experience. Will definitely be back!

It was super busy and we had to wait half an hour for seats. Thankfully it was sunny, so we sat outside and talked. The wait was so worth it, for the food. Was a tad pricy, but worth it to support a thriving small business. Will definitely go again! Get there early to find parking! Would not recommend going in a big truck that can't fit into street parking.
