20 buck fish and chp is not worth the trip! Super oily cod wasnt halibut and the fries were sad. Didnt try anything else but seemed reasonable priced besides what i orded. The People were smug and rude but the beach view is nice šŸ‘Œ

I'm biased because this is our neighborhood spot, but I love this place.
They have a decent fish and chips fryer upstairs that will bring you food, a beer fridge, and snacks for the kids. Everyone loves the $2 Soft Serve Ice Cream cones, and the services they offer as a marina are top notch, including a gas station for boats which is handy when we're on the water.

This marina has it all. A small market, restaurant, and a fantastic taproom in the back. The soups are always hot and delicious. The best aspect however are the views from their deck and all the boating activities available in the marina. Great staff; always friendly!

I’ve come to this serene spot for over 10 years and love to stop by the shop for snacks and some R&R on the docks.
Today, however, I was the second in line behind a large family and understood the cashier running upstairs to get their order started. My mistake was assuming she’d seen me directly behind the family, which she clearly did not as she was gone for over 10 minutes. It wasnt until a group of construction works joined the line did i realize a bell was fixed to the counter. They pressed it once, and after an additional 5 minutes, i rang it again.

This cashier was snappy, rude and obviously annoyed I didnt seem to know how to work their pin pad. I typically dont pay with card but with tap, and dropped it a few times not knowing why she was in such a bad mood after waiting (and would have continued to done so in silence until a longer line formed). i did hear her attitude shift whole checking out the gentleman behind me which embarrassed me further. Having 15 years of cashier and retail manager experience, this is my first and only ā€œbadā€ review I’ve ever left knowing full heartedly retail is not for everyone. I suggest a different line or work or perhaps a reality check. The foot traffic of your location doesnt seem to warrant such immature impatience as opposed to a larger department store that sees 1,000’s of customers a day. Terrible service today, honestly sad

The Boston Harbor Marina is a great place to stop for a drink along with a wide variety of snack options! The Marina has beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean. I would recommend this place not only because I’ve always had a great experience but also because it feels very welcoming! If you’re lucky, you can even see some starfish and jellyfish near the docks along with Harbor seals swimming near the harbor.

Cute and quaint. Located right on the water with a simple selection of food, snacks, and fresh clam chowder. What you'd expect from a snack shack on the beach.

The marina part is nice. We pull up and dock the boat in guest moorage. We had a rough experience in the restaurant though. There were a cat and dog walking around. As we are eating, the dog walks up and begs for food. The French fries were clearly not fresh and seemed microwaved from frozen state—the outside was warm but the inside was cold. We all felt weird after eating the food and a couple hours later got sick. We go outside and when the kids play on the sandy beach, the dog from inside who was begging for food came over and pees next to the kids in the sand they’re playing in. The food took 30+ minutes to prepare and we were the only people there. The place was not clean. I’m not sure how it passes the health department. The location and concept of venue for band in summer would earn this a higher score but the nausea I feel thinking of the uncleanliness and animal fur in the food keep it a 1 star.

Spend the day at Boston Harbor, they have a bunch of different rentals to play in the water.Sit and enjoy the views, and get a bite to eat. Small little store. Good parking and you can launch your own boat also if you want.
Be safe out in the ocean, don't leave a track and have a great afternoon.

Update: on top of our bad experience with kayaks advanced reservation the business is lying in their response below, very unfortunate... They did not explain that tandem kayaks are not designed to carry kids nor over the phone or in person (I hear it for the first time now... and I wonder why? Eddyline tandem can totally carry kids on the front (11 and 8 yo that also paddle). Never had an issue with that. They told me once we arrived they only had singles (after I asked to reserve 2 doubles over the phone and got confirmation a day before) and that singles cannot carry an adult+kid. Also sit-on-top are cheaper if you look at their site.

Please be aware they do not have tandem sit in kayaks even though they are advertised on their site. I reserved over the phone two sit-inside double kayaks (advertised as Sit Inside (Eddyline) kayak) a day before our overnight trip (when I called I explained that we need two for 4 people - 2 adults+2 kids) but when we came the next day they didn't have them, at all. They told me the only one double kayak got damaged in the beginning of the summer and is not rentable. We spent almost 3 hours coming to the marina from the north and we were upset to learn my reservation was messed up... So they offered to take two sit on top kayaks instead but they were much slower and we had trouble getting our stuff safely and dry to the camping area... Not to mention they didn't give us any refund even sit on top kayaks are cheaper to rent (I asked but was said it's about the same). So they messed up our advance reservation and we even had to overpay! Do not recommend this marina for rentals.

Love it here!

Don't allow any fishing on the peer. Ruined my day. Only peer in Olympia without contaminated water. Doesn't seem reasonable

I’ve live in the Olympia area my whole life and have never been to Boston Harbor until now. I only got food so I can’t speak to the other stuff. The burger and fries were $17+tip. I got a bacon burger. The burger didn’t have much flavor. It came with onions that did very little and the bacon didn’t add much either. It’s a solid patty though. I don’t know the weight. The menu has other foods too. The fries were light and I got a lot. It was cool to sit and eat and watch the water and boats.
