Stopped by today for the first time and was super pleased! I got the Little Tom special with onion rings. The burger was perfect, juicy, fresh. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. The goop is a great addition, perfect burger and dipping sauce! I also got ranch, which is house made and spot on. Judy at the register was a sweetheart, and they even carry the most delicious Stubborn soda, pineapple cream soda! I got a coffee, expecting it to just be okay but the roast was solidly good! Stop by, these guys are still doing it right!

This is the messiest burger I have ever eaten in my life. It was so loaded with soggy shredded lettuce that it kept spilling out of the burger as I took a bite. The pickles were all stacked together, so when I took a bite out of the food I'd get a bite of warm meat patty with a blast of cold pickle as soggy lettuce and sauce just shot out of the burger.
Overall, the burger had mediocre flavor, char was low or non existent, seasonings were mostly absent. Mouthfeel of the patty was good though.

Service was mediocre at best and took forever to get the food. My wife's tater tots were lukewarm.

Go elsewhere.

My burgers to go are always a bit crushed and the sauce is always smashed out on to the top of the bun so they don't get all 5 stars. This is based on 3 separate visits now in 2024

It was ok. Went on a Saturday. Place filled with kids (teens ?) doing the work. No adult leadership in sight. Likely where the quality is lacking. Milkshake was lumpy. Tiny straw. Burger thrown together was ok. Chicken strips for the kiddos I could have made at home. Cashier was selectively nice/rude (depending on who he was addressing. again a teen). Overall decent. Won’t go out of my way for the “experience”.

I don't want to be that guy, but... we tried this because so many many people told us it was a childhood favorite, and we should check it out. 2 people, 2 burger meals with shake upgrade, $45 dollars later (after ording the special of the day even), it wasn't that great, and items were mixed up. I am sorry, it wasn't as good as we were expecting and hoping for. They first handed us someone else's order, and after a long wait, we received our order. When we tried to confirm because we were already handed someone elses order, we were met with a "i dont know" and just assumed we should take it.. It was a lot greaser than I expected for fresh honesty, and it didn't feel that different from going to a McDonald's. Except McDonald's are a bit easier to navigate through. I kinda expected more for the hype and cost, honestly. We appreciate the recommendations, but we won't be adding this one to the outing list for the price and quality don't really match up.
Pic is my $20 meal, I've had one bite and one onion ring of it before posting this review.. Seriously let down...
