Not impressed with the vegan food will not be back. We came to try it out since they updated. But the food was not made well and it was very basic. I really hope they can get this worked out and at least do as good as the west Olympia location becuase it was the worst I have had. I hope you can use this comment to benefit and work on this is why im commenting. Love the updates of how the place looks though.

What an awesome spot! Atmosphere was fantastic, a very fun experience, and Tony on Friday nights playing the guitar is a great addition! Food was good, margaritas were on point, we will definitely be back!!!

We love the new renovations and updated menu. We loved it before- it was a very reasonable priced place beforehand to grab drinks and food for our family. We went tonight and the prices have gone up a little but I also felt like the quality of food was worth it and it was delicious. My husband said the Diablo pollo tacos were the best tacos he’s ever had. We’ll be back again soon! Great service also.

Some of the best steak I've had in WA. Best street corn. And sides other than rice and beans. Service is premium, friendly, and attentive. No 5 stars because nobody is perfect. But this is close.

Calm during lunch on a weekday. The carnitas was delicious & moist, but thankfully not too wet. Let them know if you don't like cilantro. Fantastic service and fresh food; chips came out warm & salsa was great (offered as an appetizer while you look at the menu); the cream sauce that came on the side with the tacos had a flavorful kick that wasn't too spicy. The chamoy margarita was sweet & approachable. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout my visit; will definitely be coming here again :)

Love the remodel, service was ok, no flavor in my food, and there was hair in my rice.

I would've included a picture of the food but it was so good, we finished out plates before getting pictures. We had the Expresso Burrito, chilaquiles, and chimichanga and all 3 plates were amazing. The portions were definitely worth the price. Also, I'm pretty picky with my chile rojo and theirs was on point! Very delicioso and of course the restraunt itself was beautiful.

All food was lukewarm. The salsa was really salty. They didn’t get my enchilada order correct but I ate it and it was still good. Overall it was ok, the presentation was good.

El Sarape never disappoints! I ordered one of the chef’s specials, which had a delicious mix of brunch-style items — perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The combination of savory and traditional Mexican breakfast elements made it stand out from anything else I’ve had in the area.

The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere had that warm, authentic feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. Whether you’re in the mood for brunch, lunch, or dinner, this place is a must-try.

Highly recommend El Sarape if you want truly delicious, authentic Mexican food made with care! 🌮✨
