Food tastes cheap, like it was just warmed up leftovers. Spend your money anywhere else

I was excited about trying this place out since it said authentic and it had more ratings than Panda Express! Huge mistake. The food was bland tasting, and contained a hair in one of the entrees which did it for everyone else wanting to finish their meal. Initially, they only credited the meal containing the hair, but then they agreed to credit my meal after I pointed out that it was barely touched!

Most of the food was good except the prawns, the crust was hard & thick. Had a similar experience a few years ago but figured maybe this time they would be better, way over cooked. Probably won’t be ordering from them again. 😠

The food here is so much better than the Westside store. The breading is cooked completely and doesn't fall off.
The service is always first rate. The west side service is also super great unless you get Nikki. She is Loud, Obnoxious, Disorganized and Flippant.

For the first time, I called in an order for pickup. I ordered two #2s, one #11, one order of fried prawns, and an order of barbecue pork. I have never had a bad meal there until yesterday. There was plenty of food, but there was barely any sauce in the almond chicken or the sweet and sour pork. The top was sauced, but once you got down, it was dry as a bone.
The cost of this meal was $129, which I wouldn't have minded spending had they put the sauces in separate containers to add and had the general tso chicken been fresh instead of dried out. About the only thing that was up to Emporer's standards was the chow mein, which was delicious.
I have never been so disappointed with the food here before and with the high cost of food these days, I don't believe I will be going back any time soon.
Maybe eating at the restaurant would have made a difference, but it shouldn't. Quality over quantity.
