Some of the bartenders can be aloof at times, but some of the best and strongest drinks in town reside right here. Food is well-prepared and tasty, and the outdoor seating area has heaters and plenty of seating. One of my personal favorites.

What a dive and it's not even a good kind.
At least two people were working in front of the house and there were maybe five people in the whole place.
They seemed so upset and put out that I came in and wanted a couple drinks and a sandwich. I paid 15 bucks for the worst French dip I ever had, and apparently $9 for an old fashioned that was absolutely disgusting. I only drank it because I knew if I said something, they would actively do something terrible to my drink.
When it was time to check me out, the guy took my card and dipped off for like 5 minutes. He was standing just a few feet away entering a bunch of other tickets. I was like hey man is everything okay with my card?
He got really aggressive and was like oh I was just entering these other tickets ahead of you. And I was like are those people who are here now or people who you have their card in hand like mine?
He got incredibly bitchy and this is the only time I will ever be here. I'm going to keep an eye on the account I used because I'm sure they did something sketchy. Why else would you be pissed for somebody wanting to have their card back after 5 minutes and you still haven't run their transaction?

Need to get food while waiting for mom in hospital. Was good American grub. We had chicken mushroom grilled onions sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich. Fries with that. Yum. Took a minute for wait staff to get my to go order, but the food was fast after that. People were chilling at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. Too cold inside.
Excellent food and the money you pay which is extremely reasonable, you get a lot of very good food. Definitely will go back.
