Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse

I've been coming here for over a decade and this was such a horrible experience I doubt I'll be returning. Three of us came in last night around 6 and were seated quickly for how busy it was. The server was a bit rushed, but still got to us in a fair amount of time. The chef was alright, stated it was his first night so I definitely understand. The food tasted good, I paid and left fairly satisfied. However in the middle of the night all 3 in our part started having horrible stomach cramps which continued throughout today. The stomach cramps have been unbearable, not to mention spending much of my time on the toilet. This was the same for the other two members of our party as well. Today has been terrible, I haven't been able to eat anything! So sad since this is (or was) one of my all time favorite places to dine.

Always a good meal at Fujiyama. But the atmosphere could definitely use work.

The new location is nice! Staff was very attentive and the food was good as always. We both got the Olympia deluxe and it was very tasty.

Solid quality food, unfortunately they (a) do not offer noodles (b) upcharge 5 dollars for fried rice over plain white rice, causing meals to quickly escalate in price for things that should honestly be included. We got chicken and salmon hibachi, both were very good. The steak other people ordered looked well-made.

Love, Love, Love this place. Best Yum Yum sauce I have ever had. They always have my cold Sake in stock. Food is fantastic.

Our waiter Tomas was a complete jerk. Smelled like weed and booze. I ordered ribeye and chicken, only got the chicken. I couldnt even tell the waiter my order was wrong because after bringing our drinks he never came back. The food was alright, the chef was boring. When it was all over Tomas flat out told us if we dont tip him at least 20% IN CASH then he gets nothing, beause it will all go to the cook. Everyone got quiet after that. not going to return if they have employees like that.

Took my girlfriend out for her birthday, reserved for 5:30 , got sat down and the waiter asked if there was any birthday I said “yes it’s my girlfriends birthday” well anyways also the person seated across from us also had a birthday. We got our check and paid a very expensive bill, which was expected. But to be treated the way we did, and for my girlfriend watch them sing happy birthday to the other lady at the table and bring a piece of cake with a candle on it. I was thinking ok maybe they will come back and sing my girlfriend happy birthday. But nope. Nothing. Why even ask us at that point if they were not going to do anything. I have been lots of times but never for a birthday. I would not recommend coming for a birthday as you run the risk of letting down the person who you brought and then feeling left out or that something may be wrong with them for them not to. I let the manager know and she seemed to dismiss us.

My wife and I joined our son and niece's family for dinner. Our dinner was separate from theirs. We were charged a gratuity and was never told about it. We were going to leave a $20.00 tip. There is a place on the receipt recommending what you should or could leave. Which is very misleading. Because of the automatic gratuity of $16.74 already on our receipt, we left nothing and won't eat there again.
